Janhvi Kapoor made her entry into the world of films and stardom with Dhadak, opposite Ishaan Khatter, last year. Taking it slow and wise, Janhvi has always grabbed magnum opus projects and the latest one that is creating headlines like how is a biopic based on Gunjan Saxena, the first women pilot to fly into the combat zone during the 1999 Kargil War. Just a while back, the first three posters of the film were unveiled and the netizens are going gaga over the same! The lead of the film, Janhvi herself shared the posters with a common caption that read “Gunjan Saxena -#TheKargilGirl Releasing on the 13th of March, 2020.” Take a look at all of them below:
Today, being a ‘big day’ for Janhvi Kapoor, how can her half-siblings, Anshula Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor go without posting heartfelt appreciation for their dear sister? Anshula took to Instagram and posted a heartfelt note for the film’s director, Sharan Sharma (who also happens to be Arjun’s childhood friend), for his directorial debut and Janhvi’s hard work. Anshula wrote, “I am so incredibly proud of you @sharansharma bhaiya for choosing to share this beautiful story with the world in your first film. You’ve always put in 1000% into everything you do, and I know you’ve done the same through the entire process of making this film.”
Anshula Kapoor’s heartfelt appreciation for her half-sister, Janhvi Kapoor can be read as “I’ve seen @janhvikapoor put her heart, blood, sweat, tears... literally everything she’s got into making sure her portrayal of Gunjan does justice to the real-life hero she is impersonating, as well as your vision for the film. Super duper proud of both of you & super duper excited to watch this unfold on the big screen in March 2020. Only love coming your way @janhvikapoor @sharansharma #SiblingGoals.” Arjun Kapoor too, took to his Instagram story and posting the first poster of his half-sister’s second Bollywood film, and wrote the words, “@janhvikapoor It’s time for you to fly”, atop the picture. Janhvi Kapoor’s first-ever film, Dhadak’s trailer launch (in 2018) saw almost every member of the Kapoor clan in attendance but Arjun Kapoor was missing. The doting brother couldn’t be sorrier for not being there as he was travelling for a shoot but he had made sure that he watched the trailer and tweeted an encouraging message for his sissie. He had written, “#JanhviKapoor, today starts a new & a beautiful journey! You are amazing and so is #IshaanKhatter! Both of you are magical in the #DhadakTrailer... Only love for you both! My mind has officially been blown by both my Jaanu & @ishaan95! How phenomenal is the trailer and how fantastic are both of them?? Hit it out of the park and how! 20th July, why you so far away? Super duper excited for this one!! (link in my bio)”, which began with a lot of heart emoticons. To this Janhvi had replied with an adorable “I love u!!!!!!!”
Coming back to Arjun Kapoor’s apology to Janhvi Kapoor for missing the trailer launch, the Mubarkan star had taken to Instagram and posted a family picture with Janhvi along with a beautiful message for her on her entry to showbiz. He had written, “Tomorrow you will be part of the audience forever @janhvikapoor cause your trailer comes out... Firstly, sorry I’m not there in mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry. I just wanted you to know this profession is amazing if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow ur own path & instinct. It’s not gonna be easy but I know you are ready for all the madness that will ensue. All the best for #dhadak! I’m certain my friends @shashankkhaitan & @karanjohar have presented you & @ishaan95 as the modern Romeo & Juliet with elan!!!"
Janhvi Kapoor, during one of her Dhadak promotions, had spoken about what Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor mean to her and sister, Khushi Kapoor. She had shared, “The only reason we can stand strong after whatever happened is because of the kind of love and support Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi [half-siblings] have been giving us [she and her younger sister, Khushi]. It’s a family dynamic that I relish. I am very thankful for them. I couldn’t have asked for a better brother and a better sister. They have given us a lot of strength. He is a very wise man and has given tips like, ‘just be honest, be yourself and be respectful towards people.’ Somehow, when he says it, I take it as the gospel truth.” (Also Read: Shahid Kapoor And Mira Rajput Kapoor's Sea-Facing Duplex Worth 56 Crore Is Ready To Move In, Details)
The doting sister always ensures that she is all praises for her half-siblings, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor wherever she goes and is interviewed. In an interview with the Vogue, Janhvi had shared about how their family had united after her mom, Sridevi Kapoor’s death. She had revealed, “It’s made us feel safe and secure. I think, even for Papa, it’s a source of comfort. It’s definitely tied us together. We’ve lost mom and I don’t think that’s a loss any of us will ever get over.” She had further gone on to say that her mother was a constant inspiration for her, “That’s always been my motivation. I’m so proud of my parents. I need to make them as proud of me.”
We are sure that they already are, Janhvi! Guys, how did you like the Anshula and Arjun’s wish for the Gunjan Saxena star? Keep us posted!
