In a recent conversation with Good Times, Janhvi Kapoor lauded her mother with heaps of praises for her phenomenal acting. During the chat, the interviewer asked Janhvi if she would ever come in terms with how big a star her mother was. Answering this, the doting daughter replied that she had never seen her mother, Sridevi shooting when she was at the peak of her career because she had taken a sabbatical after giving birth to her. She stated:
“I don’t think anyone will really. The thing is that I wasn’t really around when she was shooting. I mean when she was at her peak and working. When I was born, she took a break. But of course I get a sense of it when I see her films and when I see people talk so passionately about her.”
Further, in the conversation, Janhvi said that Sridevi was an anomaly and an actress like her is seen only on a blue moon. Janhvi can be quoted as saying:
“Through her films, the person that she was, seeing her on sets and the kind of sensitivity that she brought, I think that can never happen twice. She is an anomaly. What she has given to our country and to the world, through her artistry, is unparalleled and I think it happens only once in a blue moon.”

To this, Janhvi had responded that she visits Tirupati just like her mother would go there on her birthdays. The doting daughter had said:
"I take the script of each of my film to Tirupati. When she worked, mom used to visit the temple on her birthday every year. But, that stopped after her marriage. An inner voice told me to visit the temple on her birthday and I started going there on her birthdays. Now, the new year has also been added to that list."
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen in the film, Good Luck Jerry.
