Janhvi Kapoor has often shared about her close bond with her mom, Sridevi Kapoor. Recently, the actress shared the one thing her mom loved about her.
Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most talented actresses in B-town. The popular star kid is the daughter of film producer, Boney Kapoor and legendary actress, Sridevi Kapoor. However, Janhvi Kapoor lost her mother a few months before the release of her debut film in 2018. The actress has often shared how she misses her mom and mentions anecdotes from their bond in various interviews. Recently, Janhvi revealed the one thing about her that her mom loved a lot.
Recently, Janhvi appeared on the IMDb exclusive segment Ask Each Other Anything to promote her upcoming film, Ulajh. In the segment, Janhvi was asked about the one thing she would never do for a movie. In her reply, Janhvi said she would never go bald for a film. The Mili actress continued that even if the role would be the best or life-changing opportunity, she wouldn't let go of her hair because her mom loved it.

Janhvi shared that the makers can find any solution, like using VFX. But she won't ever chop off her hair. She revealed that the makers of her film, Ulajh, asked her to cut her hair short, and she fought with them because she refused to do it. She was quoted as saying:
"They can just put a bald cap on or use VFX. I have dislocated my shoulder, I've bled, broken bones, put myself through all kinds of trauma and torture, but going bald is something I refuse to do."
Janhvi Kapoor recalled one incident from her filming experience of her debut film, Dhadak. She mentioned that she had cut her hair short for the film. But her mother Sridevi was left furious when she learned about it. Sridevi even yelled at Janhvi and told her not to cut her hair. Janhvi revealed that her mom, Sridevi, loved her hair and used to help her take care of them. In her words:
"Because I remember during Dhadak when I cut my hair, my mom yelled at me a lot and she was like, 'how could you? Do not cut your hair for any role.' Every third or fourth day, she used to put oil in my hair and massage my head. She was very proud of my hair. So I will not cut my hair."

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in the film, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. She is busy promoting her upcoming movie, Ulajh, which is slated to be released on August 2, 2024. The actress will next be seen in the Telugu film, Devara: Part 1 and the Hindi film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
