“Main bohot hi asaan journey chun sakti thi. Main iss film ki jagah ya mere pichle kuch filmon ki jagah, main badi commercial films kar sakti thi jahan glamour hota, bohot asaani se reach milta, popularity ho jaata, box office ka number guaranteed hota. A commercial film has more chances to succeed at the box office than creative or unique films. Janhvi said that she is aware that achieving success by doing fewer commercial films will take time. But, she is determined to grow as an artist and wants to take the difficult way. In her words:
"So I know it's a longer game, it's a tougher game. I know that realistically if we're looking at the box office, there have been more misses than hits because of the nature of the high-risk films I've chosen. But I feel that my growth as an artist has been more gratifying than it would've been had I picked the easier route."
Janhvi Kapoor previously gave an interview to The Week, wherein she shared that she went to LA acting school to improve her acting skills. She wanted to become a better actor and worthy of the opportunities that came her way being a star kid. However, the Dhadak actress didn't learn anything there because their curriculum was based on the work process in Hollywood. She felt she should have rather stayed in India and know more about the country and language.
