Janhvi Kapoor finally addressed her marriage rumours with her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, and revealed when she is planning to tie the knot.
Janhvi Kapoor is on a promotional spree for her upcoming film, Mr and Mrs Mahi at the moment. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma and co-stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. Apart from Janhvi's impressive sartorial picks this season, her relationship with her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, has remained the talk of the town. Rumours were even rife that the diva is planning to soon settle down with Shikhar and now Janhvi has finally reacted to the speculations.
Janhvi Kapoor, in a conversation with the Times Of India, revealed that she often reads about reports of her marriage, but that, in any way, is not valid. She elaborated that people have jumbled 2-3 articles and have concluded that she is getting married in a week and is not okay with such speculations. In Janhvi's words:
"I read something very stupid just recently where they said that I have confirmed some relationship aur meri shadi hone wali hai. People mixed up 2-3 articles saying I am getting married. They are getting me married in a week which I am not okay with. I want to work at the moment."

A few days back, rumours were rife that Janhvi would tie the knot with Shikhar in Tirupati Temple in a golden saree. A paparazzi page shared a post declaring Janhvi's wedding with Shikhar, and taking to the comment section, Janhvi wrote, 'Kuch bhi', refuting all her marriage speculations.
Recently, a video of Janhvi Kapoor caused a stir on the internet, where she revealed her relationship with her boyfriend. In the clip, one of the fans asked the actress if a girlfriend should be allowed to check her boyfriend's phone. To this, Janhvi replied that despite knowing that it is a red flag behaviour, she checks her boyfriend's phone. She said in the video:
"I know it's a red flag but I still check (my partner's) phone."

Soon after, someone in the audience asked Janhvi, "Should boyfriends be allowed to check their girlfriends' phones?" The actress instantly replied that a guy should never do that. Upon being asked the reason behind the same, Janhvi cheekily prompted:
“Kyu vishwaas nahi karte kya?”
