Janhvi Kapoor graced Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's 'sangeet' in a Manish Malhotra peacock-coloured lehenga 'choli'. She explained the inspiration behind her regal attire.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to tie the knot on July 12, 2024. Ahead of their grand wedding bash, the Ambanis hosted two pre-wedding ceremonies, the first in Jamnagar, Gujarat and the second on the Mediterranean waters. Just a week prior to Anant and Radhika’s wedding, some other traditional ceremonies like mameru and sangeet took place in Mumbai, which was attended by the creme-de-la-creme of Bollywood.
On July 6, 2024, popular Bollywood actress, Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram account to share some pictures from Anant and Radhika’s sangeet, which took place at the NMACC on July 5, 2024. As mentioned in her caption, accompanied by the glimpses, the actress mentioned that she wanted to draw inspiration for her look from Jamnagar, a place where she had made some special memories.

For the occasion, Janhvi chose a regal lehenga-choli from the renowned designer, Manish Malhotra. Her entire lehenga skirt was adorned with intricate peacock feather designs, and her blouse was embellished with shimmering details. The ensemble was complemented by a shimmery dupatta in shades of blue and green. Janhvi's look was further enhanced by an opulent diamond necklace and unique diamond earcuffs. Her choice of makeup and hairstyle added a touch of glamour to her look.
In the first few slides, Janhvi gave a sneak peek of her royal look; in others, she gave a glimpse of the celebrations during Anant and Radhika’s sangeet. She was seen dancing with others, and after an outfit change, the actress posed for a group picture with her beau, Shikhar Pahariya and others. Meanwhile, in the group picture, Janhvi’s sister, Khushi was seen standing next to her rumoured beau, Vedang Raina.

Moreover, Janhvi also added a special glimpse featuring her doting beau, Shikhar. In the picture, the latter was seen cutting the can-can of Janhvi’s lehenga, so that she could easily move while dancing on the stage. Sharing these special moments from Anant and Radhika’s sangeet ceremony, Janhvi penned a heartfelt caption.
