Bollywood's new-found sensation, Janhvi Kapoor is celebrating her 24th birthday today. Born to star parents, late actress, Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi was never a stranger to the limelight. Bollywood buffs love interesting anecdotes of the star kids, and their precious childhood pictures are everyone's favourite. On the occasion of Janhvi Kapoor's birthday, we've brought you a gem of memory when a baby Janhvi had attended actress Madhuri Dixit's wedding reception with her mom, Sridevi and dad, Boney Kapoor.

Janhvi Kapoor's maiden voyage in Bollywood was with Dhadak, and the star kid had taken no time to become the nation's Dhadak. The new-age actress is known for her uncanny resemblance with her mother, the iconic actress Sridevi and we can't deny that Janhvi is nothing less than a shadow of Sridevi ji. Time and again Janhvi recreates her mother's iconic looks and the internet falls in love with her every time she does that.

Sridevi, along with Boney Kapoor had graced the occasion with little Janhvi Kapoor by her side. In the picture, we can see the newly wedded couple posing for the camera. Dressed in golden and green attire, Sridevi ji can be seen trying to calm down a visibly whining little Janhvi, who had seemingly wanted her mom to lift her up in the arms. While Madhuri Dixit looked breathtaking in a pink suit, her husband, Sriram Nene shined in a golden sherwani. Boney Kapoor looked dapper as ever in all-black attire.

Once in an interview with iDiva, Janhvi Kapoor had talked about her late mother, Sridevi ji and had said, "I think of it as a responsibility. My family, my mom in particular, got so much love and appreciation from the audience. As a consequence, I have also got some of that love. I now have to work doubly hard to prove that I deserve it, on my own, also," says Janhvi. The actor feels that her responsibility lies in catering to the emotion her mother inspired in people, more than her stardom. She's not looking to become as big a star as her, and says, "I don't think it is possible, for anyone, let alone me. I am a different person from her. Our intention with our work is the same. The kind of hard work she put in, has been inculcated in me too, by DNA, and conditioning. I am not vying for stardom, I am here to do good work."

In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Janhvi had talked about various aspects of her life, her parents' legacy, which she has been taking forward and the effect of being a star kid. She had shared that she doesn't take her mother's legacy lightly and had said that she thinks of it as a responsibility. Her mother, in particular, had gotten so much love and appreciation from the audience.
In an interview with Vogue magazine, Janhvi had revealed that her mother never wanted her to be an actress. She had said that her mother never thought she was made for the world of glam and glitz. Janhvi was quoted as saying, "She never wanted me to be an actress. She was more relaxed about Khushi getting into films. She thought I was naïve, that I wasn’t thick-skinned enough. She wanted us to live a more relaxed life. She loved what she did but you know it was intense."
