Janhvi Kapoor Wraps Her First Film 'Mili' With Father Boney Kapoor, Reveals What She Learnt From Him

The actress had made an impact in the hearts of millions of people out there with her debut film, Dhadak.

After which, she had garnered huge praises from the critics for her role in the biographical drama, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl based on the life of Indian Air Force pilot, Gunjan Saxena. The actress had stunned everyone with her acting skills and had proved the mettle of her acting craft.

On November 27, 2021, Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of BTS (behind the scenes) pictures from her upcoming film, Mili. From getting instructions from her film's director, Mathukutty Xavier, to being indulged in a deep conversation with her movie's producer and father, Boney Kapoor, every picture is a special one. Along with the stunning pictures, Janhvi also penned a heartmelting note in the caption for her dearest daddy, and it can be read as:

"It's a wrap! #Milli My first film with papa, of whom I've only heard stories of all my life as a producer. But after working with you, and it feels so cool to say that!! I finally know what everyone means when they say you give your heart and soul to each film you take up. That isn't the only reason this film is so special to me- it's been the most inspiring journey to work with someone so completely consumed by his focus and love for cinema like @mathukuttyxavier sir."

Going further in the note, Janhvi Kapoor also thanked her daddy, Boney Kapoor, for all his guidance and help during their first film together. Her note can be further read as:

In an interview with The Times Of India, Janhvi Kapoor had talked at length about the relationship between her and her father, Boney Kapoor. When asked if her dad has become a little paranoid towards her, Janhvi had said that things had changed a lot after her mother, Sridevi's demise.

Talking about the same, Janhvi Kapoor had also revealed that she consults her father on every script that comes her way. Janhvi had also explained that her father, Boney Kapoor, has become even more friendly with her and had said:

"No, in fact, he has become a very close friend. A very new equation has developed between him and me. Today, I can talk to him about everything."
