Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor share a warm bond with each other. On July 14, 2020, Janhvi shared a collage of pictures with her favourite DOP and it melted our hearts.
Sisters are the first best friends we have in our life. From sharing clothes, make-up, secrets and late-night gossips, they are the best part of our life. It doesn’t matter how much we fight with them, they are the first person we call, whenever we are in trouble. From understanding our unsaid emotions to standing like a pillar of strength for us, having a sister means you are never alone. The emotional bond is hard to describe in words and can only be felt. One such relationship is shared between the Kapoor sisters, Janhvi and Khushi. (Also Read: Kriti Sanon Pens A Heartmelting Poem For Sushant Singh Rajput On His One-Month Death Anniversary)
Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi Kapoor’s daughters, Janhvi and Khushi not only share a great bond with each other but had also stood like a pillar of strength for one another after their mother’s death. The sudden death of Sridevi was a personal loss for the entire nation and it was a shattering phase for the Kapoor khandaan. Picking every piece of their life, Sridevi’s daughters, Janhvi and Khushi had shown a brave face and stood strong for their father, Boney Kapoor.
Janhvi Kapoor always makes sure to share glimpses of her bond with her favourite person, Khushi Kapoor, and July 14, 2020, was no different. Janhvi took to her IG handle and shared a collage of photographs with her favourite DOP (Director of Photography), Khushi. In the pictures, the Kapoor sisters were seen posing for the camera with their adorable expressions, and Janhvi was seen cuddling her baby sister. Their camaraderie in the pictures was all about sisters before misters. Along with the collage, Janhvi wrote, “Meet my new fav DOP. Great at lighting, angles and mid shoot cuddles and giggles.”
On Anaita Shroff Adajania’s chat show, Feet Up with the Stars, Janhvi Kapoor had talked at length about the bond with her sister, Khushi Kapoor. She had said, “We share our clothes, but we have this thing that if you steal without telling, then it’s a thing. At this point, I don’t care. She still likes... She’s very righteous, so she is like, ‘You cannot take something without asking.’ She feels like she needs to inculcate manners in me. So that’s where it’s coming from.” (Also Read: Charu Asopa Connects With Hubby, Rajeev Sen Over Video Call Amid The Rumours Of Trouble In Marriage)
Due to the widespread of the virus, Khushi, who was studying at the New York Film Academy has come back home since the shutdown of all academic institutions. Sometime back, Janhvi had visited Khushi in the US. During that trip, Janhvi had taken to her Instagram to reveal her baby sister’s new tattoo, which was a little evil eye on the inside of her left wrist. She had shared pictures of beaming Khushi from the tattoo parlour and had captioned them as “God help us” and "Paranoid much?" Even though Janhvi had revealed that she was “too chicken to get inked”, she had finally gathered the courage to get one and the exact same as her sister. On December 4, 2019, Janhvi had stepped out for a Benetton event in Mumbai, and we couldn’t help but notice her simple evil eye tattoo, just like her sister, Khushi!
Since Khushi had moved to New York for higher studies, Janhvi always makes sure to visit her baby sister whenever she gets time.
