We have seen people working away from home, shifting to a different state or country for career prospects, but with the pandemic, some have to stay away from their families despite living in the same city. Do you know there's a doctor from Bhopal, who had earlier stayed in his car after his duty hours to avoid affecting his family with the virus? Now with the Unlock phase in most of the cities and people being allowed to go out for work, not only doctors but others too, are figuring out different measures to safeguard their families. After Parth Samthaan tested positive, the actors are thinking of precautionary measures to balance work and safety of the family. Television actor and host, Jay Bhanushali too, has decided to take a major step before he resumes his work. Father of three little kids, Khushi, Rajveer and Tara, Jay is concerned about their health and keeping in mind their safety, he has decided to move out of his home for about a month. Mahhi Vij and Jay's biological daughter, Tara Bhanushali turns one on August 3, 2020, and her father won't be there for the little one's first birthday. It has been months since the shoots were on hold due to the pandemic, and now that they have permission to shoot with precautionary measures, the artists and crew are taking the risk of life to earn a living.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Jay Bhanushali spoke about how he was reluctant to resume work but had to make the tough decision to leave his family for a while and move out of their home. Jay said, "I was reluctant about going back to shoot amid the pandemic, but there is no certainty about when things will return to normalcy. That’s when Mahhi and I decided that one of us will have to step out to work. I am in the process of packing my stuff."
For Jay Bhanushali, the decision was tougher because while he'll be away from July 18-August 8, 2020, he will miss his daughter, Tara Bhanushali's first birthday. Speaking of how he won't be a part of the celebrations, Jay stated, "I have never been away from my baby, so I don’t know how difficult it will be to live without her. I will be away from July 18 to August 8, and Tara will turn one on August 3. I was looking forward to celebrating her first birthday in my own little way, but I won’t be a part of it now. However, I am keeping a positive attitude. When she grows up, I will tell her how her father couldn’t be a part of her first birthday celebrations due to COVID-19." Jay Bhanushali doesn't want to risk his family so, he plans to undergo a test for the virus after the shoot for the reality show wraps up. Jay elaborated, "Apart from Tara, I also have Rajveer and Khushi at home. So, I can’t afford to take any chances." Flashback to the last few months' post of Jay on IG and we can see his feed filled with adorable moments with his little munchkins, Khushi, Rajveer and Tara. On Father's Day 2020, Jay had posted blue-and-white twinning pictures with his little ones and had captioned them as "I have got many titles in my life like SON, BROTHER, HUSBAND, ANCHOR, ACTOR... Being a FATHER touches my soul the most, gives sense of responsibility..all I want to pray today and always is wellbeing of my family more strength to us.. @iamkhushiray @rajveercutestar @tarajaymahhi @manojray303 #happyfathersday #fatherdaughterlove #fatherson #daughtersarethebest #daughtergoals." Here's one from the lot:
Post announcing that he is expecting his first child with wife, Mahhi Vij, Jay Bhanushali had expressed his wish to have a baby girl. While hosting for the singing reality show, Superstar Singer, Jay had said, "No relationship in the world can match the sanity of a father-daughter relationship and I wish that when my wife gives birth to a baby, she is a baby girl. I have no preference as such and it is not that I won't like if a baby boy is born but I admire this bond and since I have had a father-son connect with my father, now when I have a child, I want a daughter so that I can experience this too." And on August 3, 2019, Jay's wish was fulfilled when Mahhi had given birth to their little angel, Tara Bhanushali.
