Spiritual speaker and singer, Jaya Kishori who is widely known for being vocal about her altruistic lifestyle, is being criticised by various sections of the internet over a video of her from the airport, that went viral.
Jaya Kishori, who rose to fame as a spiritual orator, and life and motivational coach, is facing backlash because of her Rs. 2 lakh customized Dior tote at the airport. The speaker who aspires to encourage the masses to lead a simple and peaceful life, was spotted with a luxury tote bag, with her name embroidered on it. The video has left the viewers questioning the authenticity of the life coach.
The 29-year-old speaker has persistently advocated a humble and sustainable life in her social semblance. Therefore, when Jaya was spotted at the airport with the high-end tote, it set off the internet. Her opulent choice contradicted her message of respecting nature, animal life and a minimalistic lifestyle.

As soon as the video of the life coach went viral, users started calling out Jaya Kishori for her duality. Some said she teaches non-materialism to fund her luxuries while others suggested that one should choose who to follow wisely as the world is filled with hypocrites. One user commented:

While most users believe that Jaya is misleading people with her ambivalence, some users stood up for the life coach suggesting that her owning a branded bag means nothing, as it has more to do with attachment than possession. One user wrote:

Netizens even indicated that it was Jaya Kishori who initially posted the viral video of herself at the airport which has been deleted since the backlash.
