Jayam Ravi's estranged wife, Aarti, issued a new statement as she hit back at the public comments about her personal life and clarified her 'blindsided' statement about divorce.
Jayam Ravi has been hitting the headlines off lately with his personal life. It was a few days ago, when Jayam Ravi announced his separation from his wife, Aarti. Soon after, the actor announced the same, his estranged wife took to her IG handle and issued a statement, stating that the divorce decision was one-sided and was made without her consent. Amid this, another report suggested that the divorce was caused by the involvement of a third person, Kenishaa Francis.
Well, Kenishaa Francis later dismissed all the claims, sharing that Jayam Ravi was emotionally and mentally bruised by his wedding. And after the same, Aarti issued a statement seemingly hinting at Kenishaa. Aarti Ravi, in her statement, added that she is silent, not for guilt or weakness, and she has chosen to keep mum despite she has been being portrayed in a negative light because she has trust in the legal system that she believes would bring justice.
In the same statement, Aarti Ravi clarified that her quotes had been misinterpreted previously, and she meant that the public announcement was 'blindsided', not the 'divorce'. Aarti further added that she is continuing to keep her hopes up for a private conversation, which to date has been denied. In the same statement, Aarti remarked that she doesn't want to hamper anyone's reputation as she respects the sanctity of marriage, thus, her focus is only on the well-being of her family.
Amid the legal tussle between Jayam Ravi and his ex-wife, Aarti, it was reported that the actor's involvement with a Bangalore-based singer and spiritual healer, Kenishaa caused the split. Talking about the same, the singer, told DT Next that she met Jayam Ravi during a song's shoot. Later, he contacted her after being emotionally and mentally bruised from his marriage. She also asked people not to poke their noses in Jayam Ravi's personal life and dismissed all the claims of her link with the actor.
Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Jayam Ravi was asked about Aarti's 'blindsided' statement. To this, the actor revealed that he not only discussed the divorce with Aarti but also with their family members elaborately, and as the legal proceedings have begun, he didn't want to hide this anymore in public. Jayam Ravi added that he left his home with a car, and has been in and out in hotels. He also revealed that he shared the divorce news with his elder son.
