Shahid Kapoor's much-awaited film, Jersey is finally set to hit the screens on April 22, 2022, after multiple delays due to the pandemic and plagiarism case. And because of the delay, the movie had also managed to avoid a direct clash against Yash starrer K.G.F. Chapter 2. Talking about Jersey, Shahid played a character of an unemployed middle-aged father, who decided to chase his long-lost dream of playing cricket to gift a jersey to his son.
Ahead of its release, Shahid Kapoor and his co-star Mrunal Thakur had organised a special screening for their industry friends and family. Shahid's stepbrother and actor, Ishaan Khatter, hailed his 'bhaijaan' for his incredible acting after the screening. Ishaan also heaped praises for Shahid's father, Pankaj Kapur and actress, Mrunal Thakur with applauds.

Ishaan has shared a warm bond with his big brother Shahid since childhood. And the doting brother never leaves a chance to shower love and praises on the Kabir Singh actor. A few hours ago, Ishaan Khatter took to his IG stories and gave his honest film review. Sharing a beautiful poster of Jersey, Ishaan penned a heartfelt note praising Shahid's jaw-dropping performance. He penned:
"As a brother, I'm filled with pride, as an actor with respect and as an audience with admiration for my powerhouse bhaijaan @ShahidKapoor Thank you for sharing what you did through this character. @GowtamNaidu Thank you for the emotional experience that as an audience I always secretly crave."

Ishaan further praised other stars of the film, including Shahid's father, Pankaj Kapur and gorgeous actress, Mrunal Thakur. Calling Pankaj a master of his craft, he wrote:

In no time, Shahid Kapoor reshared his doting brother, Ishaan's post on his IG stories and congratulated him for completing four years in the film industry as an actor. Shahid showed his gratitude and respect towards Ishaan and penned:
"CAN'T BELIEVE MY LIL BRO COMPLETED 4 YEARS AS AN ACTOR. WITH GRATITUDE AND RESPECT AS AN ACTOR I ADMIRE WATCHING. LOVE YOU ISHAAN."
