Jr. NTR emphasises that he chose to act without any pressure

Jr. NTR stated that, contrary to popular belief, he was never coerced into acting and it was his decision to be an actor. The actor made his feature film debut in 2001 with Ninnu Choodalani, having previously acted as a child artist in the films, Brahmarshi Viswamitra and Ramayanam in the early 1990s. He said that instead of 'restricting' him to act, his father allowed him a 'fair chance' to try out different activities.
