Raj Babbar's first daughter, Juhi Babbar, talked about her bond with her late step-mother, Smita Patil. Read on to know more!
Raj Babbar and his first wife, Nadira Babbar's daughter, Juhi Babbar, have been empathetic towards her family situation and always have an understanding of it. When Raj Babbar decided to get married to Smita Patil, he told his daughter, Juhi Babbar, when she was barely seven. Recently, Juhi Babbar revealed her relationship with her step-mother, Smita Patil.
Recently, in an interview with Lehren TV, Juhi Babbar recalled her relationship with Smita Patil. She revealed that her father, Raj Babbar, informed her about his relationship with Smita Patil when she was barely seven. She could clearly see how Smita Patil showered love on her and her brother. She treated them well as she knew they were the kids of the man she loved. Talking about the bond, Juhi said:
"Aaj bhi jo meri memories hai unko lekar vo bahut alag hai. Or sirf memories nai, mujhe her ek incident yaad hai she has gone out of her way to do things for me. Toh vo tha unme ki yeh Raj ke bache hai, yeh us insaan ke bacche hai jo mere liye khass hai. Or yeh bacche uske liye khaas hai."
Juhi Babbar revealed that Smita Patil would take care of her and give her yummy things to make her feel loved. She has not many but few best memories as Smita Patil passed away within 15 days of giving birth to her son, Prateik Babbar. She said:
"Bahut pyaar or humesha kahi bahar gayi hai toh kuch laa rahi hai. Waha gaye hai ghar par toh waha kuch aa raha hai khane ko. Toh yeh choti-choti memories they are very nice. They are not too many memories unfortunately but jitni bhi hai."
Juhi Babbar revealed how she understood her father's relationship with Smita Patil and how he had given her wife status to her, and she also made an effort towards her. However, Juhi also understood that she should not discuss the time spent with Smita Patil with her mother, Nadira as it might disturb her. Juhi said:
"As a child I understand that this lady he wants to be, vo uski apni biwi ka darja de rahe hai. And that lady is making efforts towards me and my brother. But at the back of my mind I knew that this is ditrubing the union and that my mother is unhappy about it. So, I think I had that understanding that I am feeling happy here now, and aunty is being so good to me. But when I got back home, I probably don't share this with my mother. Kyunki shayad meri mumma ko takleef ho. Kyo mai unko jaa kar bolun ki mumma unhone toh mere liye vo wali chocolate mangwayi thi."
Juhi Babbar revealed that her mother, Nadira, was always respectful towards the late Smita Patil. However, it wasn't a toxic situation, but things happened at the start of it. As a child, she had some bad memories of that time. Juhi also talked about her step-brother, Prateik (son of Smita Patil), and how accepting him as his brother was of the dictionary.
