Juhi Babbar revealed she skipped working in mediocre Hindi and Punjabi films just for the sake of work

In a recent interaction with the Hindustan Times, Juhi Babbar opened up about her choice of doing theatre and not films. The diva, who belongs to a true-blue film family, made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with the film, Kash Aap Hamare Hote, subsequently made lesser stints in films, and instead focused on theatre, following the footsteps of her mother, Nadira Babbar. Adding how she refused to do stupid films for the sake of work, Juhi mentioned:

“Unfortunately, I never got good work in Punjabi or Hindi cinema. 'Kash Aap Hamare Hote' didn't work at the box office. Still, girls used to get movies then. Like, the typical three hero and three heroine movies, where you are doing stupid, dumb characters. People told me, '2-4 aise role kar lo, tum achi actor ho notice ho jaogi' I said, 'No'.”
