Television actress, Juhi Parmar recalls one getting saved from one of the most life-changing accidents she had faced.
Television actress, Juhi Parmar is best known for her stint in the hit serial, Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. Being one of the longest-running shows of the time, it had eventually made her a household name in no time. Apart from her prolific career in the television industry, she has also made a name for herself on the silver screen and has been a part of a few films and web series. In her personal life, Juhi was previously married to fellow actor, Sachin Shroff, with whom she parted ways in 2018. She is currently raising her daughter single-handedly.

In her words:
“I had a very, very big accident which I shared on Instagram. I call this my second life now. Because on March 19, 2019, it was the night of Holi. I was almost gone. I was in the ICU. After her divorce from her ex-husband, Sachin Shroff, Juhi was granted the sole custody of their daughter, Samairra, whom she has been raising single-handedly. However, in our society, most single mothers are dealt with a lot of scorn and contempt, which is totally unjustified. Speaking about the same, Juhi, in an interview with News18 Showsha, Juhi opened up on how being a single mother is difficult since one has to portray the role of both the parents. Moreover, she also revealed that there has been no change of emotions for her when it comes to her daughter.
In the same interview, Juhi also spilt the beans on the constant societal criticism she has been facing ever since she had opted to raise her daughter alone. Revealing how people frequently consider a woman solely responsible for a broken marriage and do not think twice before judging her, she mentioned:
“From society to people around me, they have always come up to me and said ‘You are doing a great job as a mother’ and ‘you inspire us’. Yes, there are judgments. There are people who will say that it must have been a woman’s fault only. You really can’t go out and change them. They need to look within themselves and understand from where so much of negativity and hatred is coming. They need to fix that. It is easy to judge and difficult to be in somebody’s shoes and understand why a decision like this was taken.”
