Junaid Khan shared how his brother-in-law, Nupur Shikhare, once cuddled him in bed after a drinking session.
Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan and Reena Datta is gearing up for his theatrical debut with Loveyapa. He would be seen with Khushi Kapoor, and the trailer revolves around Gen Z romance, which has created a lot of buzz. The stars are busy promoting the movie. The actor, in the trailer, is seen in love with Khushi's character. However, do you know that he is a protective brother to Ira Khan? Junaid shared that once Ira's husband, Nupur was so drunk that he cuddled Junaid and slept.
Junaid had a condition for Ira before she got married to Junaid. He wanted Nupur to have a drinking contest with him. Junaid took this test so that Nupur's real personality could come in the front after drinking. The Maharaj star shared with Hauterrfly that Nupur was so drunk that he spent the night on the bathroom floor. He even joked that he had put Nupur in the bed, and the fitness trainer could not stop cuddling the actor the entire night. In Junaid's words:
"Yeah! So, what happened was we started drinking, and at one point, Nupur was like, Junaid, I’m done. So, I said you take this shot and I’ll not take a shot, so then you won. He took the shot, he won and I took a video of it and it was very sweet. He spent the rest of the night on the bathroom floor with Ira next to him. That was also very sweet. Then I picked him up and I put him in bed and then he cuddled with me all night because he was in my bed."
Junaid, going further, said that he made it clear to Ira that she could date whoever she wanted. However, the prospect needed to come home and have drinks with the actor. Junaid said Nupur had the choice to pick the liquor, and the rules were both to take a shot every 15 minutes. Junaid wanted Nupur to beat him in the drinking contest, and the idea to have it was for Ira to see them both in their drunk state.
Aamir Khan's fitness coach, Nupur, reportedly had also trained Ira during the COVID-19-induced national lockdown in 2020. Nupur, who has many celebrity clients, made Ira fall for him. While initially, she focused on maintaining a healthy routine, their conversations deepened, and a meaningful bond was formed between the two. It was in 2021 that the couple made their relationship official. Ira sweetly calls him Popeye and has always shown her unconditional support. Reportedly it was in 2021 when Nupur mustered the courage to propose Ira. After their engagement became official, their fans were waiting for them to get married.
Ira married the love of her life in Mumbai on January 3, 2024. They had a registered marriage, which was attended by their close friends and family members, followed by a white wedding.
