TWICE’s Sana recently announced to the world who is the real queen of red carpets. She attended the second-anniversary event of the Graff Ginza Main Store in Tokyo on November 11, 2023, and took everyone’s breaths away with her opulent OOTN. Sana, who is the global face of the luxury jewellery brand, Graff, decked herself with the brand’s jewellery worth around USD 33 million, approximately INR 275 crore. Her ensemble featured a floor-length burgundy dress that very well complemented her regal 188-carat pieces of jewellery. Sana set a new record at the red-carpet event by wearing the highest-valued jewellery ever worn by any celebrity on the red carpet.
Sana donned carefully selected jewellery that included a 102.34-carat diamond necklace. This necklace is famous for being the world's highest-clarity round brilliant diamond. It was not a surprise that it became the centrepiece of her already stunning ensemble. Her overall look was further enhanced by chandelier earrings embellished with over 60 carats of emeralds and diamonds set in platinum. Sana's OOTN was completed with a striking diamond ring, weighing around 20 carats.
TWICE’s Sana has now officially taken over the record of donning the most expensive jewellery ever worn on the red carpet. Previously, the record was held by the American singer, Carrie Underwood, who wore a USD 31 million diamond necklace at the Grammys in 2013. Even the American singer-songwriter, Lady Gaga decked herself in a USD 30 million Tiffany & Co. necklace at the 2019 Oscars.
