When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, Kaivalya Vohra and his batchmate, Aadit Palicha, decided to take on their entrepreneurial journey. The duo were in the US, but after their college started taking online classes, they returned to India and took a one-year break from their graduation to take their chance at entrepreneurship. After having a discussion with their respective families, although their parents were quite sceptical about their idea of doing business in the middle of the pandemic, they allowed their kids to cook their ideas. As a result, Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha founded Kiranakart Technologies Private Limited in 2020 and started delivering groceries and stuff across Mumbai.
By the end of their gap year, Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha had created enough profit that it was an easy choice for the boys to continue working on their company instead of going back to the classrooms of their college. After almost a year, Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha launched Zepto in 2021, which was an extension of their parent company, Kiranakart Technologies, and they started operating in cities like Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and more.

In 2021, Zepto was worth Rs. 4,700 crores and after Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha managed to bring an investment of around Rs. 1,650 crore, the company was valued at Rs. 7,400 crore in 2022. Since then, there have been no signs of slowing down for Zepto as it continues to expand its web across India. In 2022, Zepto's founders, Kaivalya and Aadit, also earned a spot on the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List, which was indeed a proud moment for the young billionaires.
As per multiple reports, Zepto's co-founder, Kaivalya Vohra sits at the 1,036th spot in IIFL Wealth Huran India Rich List with an estimated net worth of Rs. 1,000 crores. At the mere age of 20, it is astonishing the way Kaivalya has managed to build a net worth as mammoth as this.
