The actress shared that even during the first 40 days of giving birth to her son, Neil, she was working from home. Talking about how her mother came to her rescue, she said:
"I worked through my pregnancy. I had a lot of commitments that I had to finish. I was trying to plan and expedite the process in my head and when he was born, the first 40 days my mum took over my life and didn't allow me out of the house, but I still worked. The baby was in the other room and I was shooting in my mum's house. So | have worked through it all. And I'm glad I did."
Kajal Aggarwal also opened up about her delivery and revealed that she was trying to meditate throughout the process. However, she shared that the moment she held her baby on her chest, all her challenges vanished, and at the time, all that mattered for her was her baby. Sharing that her baby is the happiest thing that could happen to her, the actress said:
"I was chanting through my delivery process and I was trying to meditate. I was trying to do all the gazillion things that I was told about. However, the minute my baby was on my chest, the world faded away. It was just him and me. I was grateful I was crying and those nine months of difficulties and challenges just vanished. I couldn't think of anything. Nothing mattered except for my boy in my arms. Nothing else. My baby is an extension of my life and my baby is really the happiest thing that could happen to me, the love of my life. But I am who l am and I don't want to ever lose that."

The new mommy also talked about suffering from mom's guilt and shared that even though she has help at her home, she doesn't feel comfortable leaving the baby alone. Kajal added that everytime she steps out for a shoot or brand endorsement, she would always feel a scarcity in her head. Talking about how she's always anxious when it comes to her baby boy, Kajal said:
"I suffer from massive mom guilt. It's very difficult for me to even go to the gym. Luckily, I have help at home. And initially, I wasn't very comfortable leaving the baby alone with just help. I was always very anxious and I was like 'Oh my god. Someone needs to be there from the family and someone needs to be there', and who's that someone - it has to be me. Every time I step on a set and this was even for smaller things like a day's shoot for an endorsement or something - I would carry paraphernalia. I would take my pump and I would try to express and I would always have this feeling of scarcity in my head."
Kajal Aggarwal also recalled the initial days of her delivery and shared that breastfeeding was very challenging for her. She shared that since her baby was latching, she was in constant pain and thus, she had to consult her gynaecologist. Further, the new mommy mentioned that every woman has to do her share of training and try to make their little babies adapt to the changes. She concluded:
"I was very keen on breastfeeding directly from the boob. But initially that got a little challenging because though my baby was latching on I was in severe pain. So, I found it difficult initially and I of course consulted lactation specialists, I spoke to my gynecologist, but it was painful. So regardless of who says what, even if it's your near and dear ones, you gotta do what you gotta do. And you gotta do what's best for your baby instinctively and give the training that the kids require. I think it's training ourselves in our mind and that's more important. Kids are super adaptive in nature, and they'll probably adapt to anything."
Undoubtedly, Kajal Aggarwal is not just a brilliant actress, but also a doting mommy!
