To mark the International Men's Day, Kajol took to her IG handle and posted a monochrome picture of her husband, Ajay Devgn and son, Yug Devgan.
Today. i.e., November 19, 2020, is celebrated throughout the world as International Men's Day. Unlike Women's Day, Men's Day is not as widely recognized or celebrated or even talked about. In fact, we're sure many of you might not even be aware that today is International Men's Day. But times are changing, slowly and gradually. People have begun to appreciate the 'men in families' and are putting up appreciation posts for them. Bollywood actress, Kajol also penned an appreciation post for the 'men in her family' and gave a very powerful message with it. This is not the first time when Kajol had appreciated her family members. On the occasion of Teacher's Day, i.e., September 5, 2020, Kajol had shared a picture of her 'closest clan'. The actress had posted a throwback picture featuring her parents, Tanuja and Shomu Mukherjee, her sister, Tanishaa Mukerji and her husband, Ajay Devgn. Along with the picture, she had penned a heartfelt note expressing her gratitude to the 'teachers' of her life!
On November 19, 2020, to mark the International Men's Day, Kajol took to her IG handle and posted a monochrome picture of her husband, Ajay Devgn and son, Yug Devgan, posing together with Ajay's sister, Neelam's sons, Aman and Daanish. Along with the beautiful picture, Kajol wrote, "Women raise men. Let's do it the way we want to be treated. To all my guys, so proud of you. #InternationalMensDay.@ajaydevgn @daanishgandhi @amangandhii #YugDevgn.
Kajol has always been a woman of courage, who listens to her heart no matter what. And the biggest proof of her valiance is her 22-year-long successful marriage with her husband, Ajay Devgn. When Kajol had decided to get married to Ajay Devgn, it had come as a shock to everyone as they are polar opposites to each other. Critics had labelled them as an 'unlikely pair', and had predicted that their marriage would not last long. On Neha Dhupia's chat show, No Filter Neha, Kajol had mentioned that even her father was a little sceptical about her getting married to Ajay. She had revealed how her father had enquired why would she want to get married at such a young age and at the peak of her career, to which she had replied that she was in love with Ajay and had wanted to settle down. Not only this, but Kajol's father hadn't talked to her for four days when she had decided to marry Ajay Devgn. When after a courtship of four years, Kajol and Ajay had decided to take their relationship to the next level, Kajol's father was reluctant as he had wanted her to focus on her career. In an interview with the Humans Of Bombay, Kajol had said, "His parents were on board, but my dad didn't talk to me for 4 days. He wanted me to focus on my career, but I was firm & he eventually came around. Again, there was no proposal–we just knew we wanted to spend our lives together." Ajay and Kajol had a low-key wedding at his home on February 24, 1999.
The doting husband, Ajay Devgn never forgets the miracle that Kajol is in his life and his seldom PDA for his wife is more than enough proof, given the fact that Ajay Devgn is an introvert. On Kajol's birthday on August 5, 2020, Ajay had penned a one-liner note for his 'forever and always', which could be read as "Happy returns of the day, forever & always @kajol."
