Kajol had sent the wrong location invites to the media so that they would not interfere in her wedding day with Ajay Devgn.

When Kajol appeared on Kapil Sharma's show to promote her film, Devi, she shared a lot of funny anecdotes. During one of the segments, Kapil gave her a list of rumours, and she had to tell whether they were true or false. So, when the host asked Kajol if she had sent the wrong invites to the media during her wedding with Ajay Devgn, the actress instantly admitted it. Kapil asked her:
"Aapki jab shaadi huyi, aapne media walo ko galat address ke card bheje the taaki woh aapki shaadi mein na aa paaye. Is it true?"
While Archana Puran Singh was left surprised to hear the answer, Kapil quipped she should not have invited them but rather given them the invites with the wrong location. Kajol clarified her stance and stated that if she had not invited them, they would have asked someone. So, it was better to send them an invite with the wrong location. She said:
"Kyunki mujhe pata tha ki agar main nahi batati unko toh woh kahin na kahin se pata lagate ki shaadi kahan pe hai. Toh agar maine unko galat address de diya toh dhundhte hi nahi na."
