Trolling is not good, especially when it comes to star kids being trolled. Recently, Kajol Devgan opened up on her daughter, Nysa Devgan getting trolled. Check out what the celebrity mommy has to say!
In a world of pics and clicks, we often meet trolls, sometimes in the form of our friends and other times in strangers. While we have the luxury to block them and ignore those few hate comments, celebrities don't have it. But things take a sad turn when the celebrities kids are involved in it. The trollers are so busy typing mean comments that they forget that the celebrity-kids reading it are also humans and it can take a toll on them. And one celebrity kid, who often gets trolled by these nasty trollers is Kajol Devgan and Ajay Devgn's daughter, Nysa Devgan. The social media websites become a trolling army every time Nysa steps out. Whether it is her simple airport look or a salon outing, she is always on the receiving end of public hate. And the netizens forgets that she is, after all, just a kid. We remember how once Ajay had gone on records and requested all the paparazzi to stay away from his daughter as it is the parents, who have to pay the price. He had clearly stated, "Judge me but don't judge my kids."
Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Kajol opened up on Nysa getting trolled. She shared how it affects her and her daughter. She said, "I think it is horrible. As parents, you want to protect your children always. So when something like this happens, when she is trolled, it is disheartening. Honestly, thank god, Nysa wasn't here when the entire thing happened so she wasn't much aware of it. She was in Singapore, but at the end of the day, social media is social media. It is everywhere. So, you have to train them and educate them that this is a small section of society and that you should ignore them and let's not look at that part of it. If I am teaching my son to respect women, I have to teach my daughter too that self-respect starts with them." Last year, when Nysa was spotted with her mother, Kajol for Amitabh Bachchan's Diwali bash, trollers didn't shy away from posting hate comments on her picture. She had opted for a peach lehenga. But her look didn't go well with netizens, one of the users had written, "OMG, she did serious skin lightening. Looks like plastic. Ban her when we are banning plastic." The other written, "Ye bollywood k bachhe achank gore kaise hote jate hai." Some had even called her another product of nepotism and had written, "Like ma, like daughter... Whatever, a bollywood nepo product on its way".
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Ajay had talked about the paparazzi culture and his daughter often being subjected to the trolls. He had shared, "She is just a 14-year-old and I feel, at times, people forget that and talk rubbish. She was wearing such a long shirt and she was also wearing shorts. Now because of the length of the shirt, her shorts weren't visible and the kid got trolled for that."
He had further added, "I don't know what kind of people these are and because of them, we are paying the price. I request the paparazzi to at least leave the children alone. Why are they paying the price for their famous parents? I don't think any child is okay with paparazzi. They want their space. They want to not dress up every time they step out, so it's very sad when such things happen." Well, we hope trollers take a lesson and stop spreading hate!
