Kajol Spends Happy Moments With Mom, Tanuja And Tanishaa Along With Her Son In Durga Puja Pandal

Much like every year, the Mukerji household was spotted enjoying a happy time with the Durga Puja festivities in Mumbai.

Durga Puja is a special time for every Bengali, as these five days are filled with fun, laughter and merriment. From month-long preparations to minute final touch-ups, all arrangements are taken care of, so there is no pause in enjoyment for the next five days. And not to forget, these are the days when people forget all their worries and dress up and relish mouth-watering delicacies. The Bong-girl of Bollywood, Kajol, is no exception and has left no stone unturned to celebrate the most out of Durga Puja 2022.

For the unversed, the Mukerji family, with its notable Bollywood personalities like Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Ayan Mukerji and others, become the core members of one of the biggest Durga Puja celebrations in Mumbai.

On October 3, 2022, the gorgeous actress Kajol graced the Durga Puja mandap along with her mother and yesteryear actress Tanuja, her sister Tanishaa Mukerji and her son Yug Devgan. The day being Maha-Ashtami, or the eighth day of Durga Puja, the Mukerji family graced the pandal to perform the puja and seek the blessings of the divine mother.

One of the lesser-known facts about Kajol is that she is indeed a Bengali by birth since her late father, Shomu Mukerji, who was an eminent writer, director and producer, hailed from Bengal itself. And so, this gorgeous Bong lady makes it a point to visit the Durga puja pandal every year and offer her prayers.

Taking to her IG stories on October 3, 2022, Kajol shared a candid photograph of herself as she posed for the camera with her mom, Tanuja, sister, Tanishaa and son, Yug in the pandal. All three women looked their ethnic best as each donned a beautiful saree paired with matching jewellery.

Sharing another memorable moment from their Durga Puja festivities this year, Kajol also shared a special video with her son on her Instagram handle on October 2, 2022. Celebrating the sixth day or Maha-Shashthi of Durga Puja, the video featured Kajol and her son Yug, who is seen to be enthusiastically serving bhog to all the visitors of the puja pandal. A doting mommy, Kajol was seen to be assisting her son in doing the task and also passing on the hereditary tradition of participating in Durga Puja festivities. Her caption to the video could be read as:

Well, not just Kajol but her darling sister, Tanishaa also shared glimpses of the family's special moments at the pandal. Taking to her IG handle, Tanishaa shared a heart-warming Reel with her mom, Tanuja and sister, Kajol, as they all looked gorgeously decked up for the puja. She captioned the Reel as:

On the work front, Kajol will be next seen in the movie, Salaam Venky directed by ace filmmaker, Revathy.
