The cast of 'Do Patti' will soon be making an appearance on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' to promote the film. In it, host, Kapil Sharma and Kajol had a hilarious chat about her playing a cop.
Kajol is all set to make her Netflix debut with the mystery thriller, Do Patti. In it, the talented actress will be seen embodying the role of a cop for the very first time. Kajol, who has been busy promoting the film, recently made an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, and host, Kapil couldn’t resist asking her about the same. In a promo released by Netflix, the comedian asked Kajol if she had taken tips from her husband, Ajay Devgn, and her answer was all things hilarious.
The promo for the episode featuring the Do Patti cast showed Kapil Sharma asking Kajol about her preparation for the role of a cop. The host asked her if she had taken any tips from her husband and actor, Ajay Devgn.
For the unversed, Ajay is well-known for playing a cop in Rohit Shetty’s Singham universe. Well, Kajol’s witty comeback to Kapil’s question had everyone in splits of laughter. Without missing a beat, the actress responded:
"Bilkul nahi pucha. Kyunki puri training maine di hai unko Singham ke liye. Bhool gaye?"
Kajol was asked the same question at the Do Patti trailer launch a week back, and her response was just as hilarious. She confirmed that she hadn’t and quickly followed that with a quip about being the real 'Singham at home.'

Kajol was also joined by her Do Patti castmates, Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh, on The Great Indian Kapil Show. And the promo for the episode also revealed a hilarious moment between Kajol and her co-star, Kriti. The actress was seen asking Kajol about stories she had heard that every movie in which she had fallen had become a hit. When Kajol responded that the stories were true, Kriti quickly said, “You should have told us earlier.” Kajol then inquired if there had been some plan to make her fall, and everyone burst out laughing.
Kajol and Kriti’s close bond was noticeable on The Great Indian Kapil Show, but it was far from surprising. Not too long, in an interview, Kajol praised her co-star’s performance and growth in the industry, saying:
“Kriti has come far since Dilwale. There has been a wonderful growth spurt in her filmography. It was amazing to witness her transform from one character to the other in this film.”
For the unversed, Do Patti will premiere on the OTT platform Netflix on October 25, 2024. The film promises an intense storyline and power-packed performance, with lead actress, Kajol describing it as so full of twists and turns that viewers might get tired by the end.
What do you think about Kajol’s witty remarks about not taking tips from her hubby, Ajay Devgn for the role of a cop?
