Veteran actress and Filmfare Lifetime Achievement awardee, Tanuja has turned a year older and celebrated her 78th birthday on September 23, 2021, and her star daughters and actresses, Kajol and Tanishaa Mukerji just can't keep calm! While Kajol dropped a timeless video that showered some throwback pictures, Tanuja's younger daughter, Tanishaa Mukerji shared an adorable picture that proves how much close the veteran actress is to her daughters.

On September 23, 2021, Tanhaji actress, Kajol took to her Instagram handle to mark the special day as her mother, Tanuja, whom she also called 'Tedhi Medhi crazy amazing mom' turned 78. She shared a video with a montage of pictures that chronicled her childhood days and young days to the present day. Alongside the video, she wrote, ''The real Tedhi Medhi Crazy amazing woman in my life. Cheerleader to life coach and my best friend. Lucky to be your daughter. I love you mommy. Happy Birthday.”
Tanuja's daughters, Kajol and Tanishaa Mukerji also dropped another picture on their respective IG handles and shared some pictures from the birthday party. The actresses can be seen sharing a cosy moment with their mother. From a customised cake to a bottle of champagne, the sister duo arranged all of it for their mother. While Kajol captioned the picture as ''Happy happy birthday .... celebrations continue...'' On the other hand, Tanishaa wrote, ''Happy birthday my darling mom!! Thank u @kajol for making this happen! #thisisus.''

On Tanuja's 77th birthday, Kajol had wished her mother, iconic actress, Tanuja with a heartfelt note expressing how she had taught her the different avatars of a woman and that she would forever be her baby. Sharing a picture with her mother, the doting daughter had written, ''Happy birthday to the one person who showed me all the avatars of a woman.
