After starring in a couple of films such as Dil Kya Kare, U Me Aur Hum et al, Kajol and Ajay Devgn are all set to share screen space together in January 2020 release film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The several posters that have been unveiled have already created a much-needed buzz around the film, until today, which added as the main surprise element in the film. The picture had Kajol portraying the character of Savitribai Malusare, the wife of Tanhaji (the protagonist of the film), donning a Maharashtrian silk saree with pallu over her head, deep kohl-lined eyes, traditional nath and mangalsutra, creating just the right essence of her character. Sharing her first look, Kajol wrote, ""Main aapko harne nahi doongi" #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior, in cinemas 10th January 2020. TANHAJI TRAILER TOMORROW." Her hubby, Ajay penned, "Savitribai Malusare - Tanhaji ke saahas ka sahara... aur unke bal ki shakti. #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior in cinemas 10th January 2020. TANHAJI TRAILER TOMORROW."

While the first poster of Kajol in this film is already giving us a glimpse of the strong character that Kajol is going to portray, but her very get-up (a little subtle though) reminds us of the 45-year-old actress' wedding look! The Kuch Kuch Hota Hain actress had gotten married to Ajay Devgn in a traditional Maharashtrian wedding and had looked every bit of stupendous in her Maharashtrian bridal avatar. On her D-day, Kajol had chosen to let go of heavy makeup and had kept it simple and to the necessary on her wedding day. She had worn a green saree, a look that she had completed with traditional bridal jewellery of the region, along with a nath, green chooda, and vaaki (armlet). As you look at the picture, compare it with the poster and you would surely spot the uncanny resemblance!

Coming back to Kajol’s love life, the actress is happily married to Ajay Devgn and is blessed with two kids- Nysa Devgn and Yug Devgn. Do you know, there was a time when Kajol’s father, Shomu Mukherjee didn’t talk to her for a week when she had told him that she wanted to settle down with Ajay? Yes, this is what the Baazigar actress had once shared in an interview with The Indian Express, “Nobody wanted us to get married besides his family and my family. My family also was iffy. My dad didn't talk to me for a week when I told him I wanted to get married." (Must Read:Kapil Sharma Posts A Picture With 'Heavily Pregnant' Ginni Chatrath To Wish Her On Birthday)

Kajol had further added, "It was because I wanted to get married. He was just like why do you want to get married, you’re so young and your career is doing so well and I was like but I want to get married. Ajay and I were very different people, so lots of people had reservations as to what we would be like as a couple and we were not very social even then. Not a lot of people had met us together or knew what we were like together.”

In an interview with the IANS, Kajol was asked as to why did she marry at the peak of her career, she had replied, “It was the right thing for me to do at that point of time. I had been already working for around eight and a half to nine years. So, I was ready to kind of calm down on my work front and kind of take it easier.” She had further shared, "I was doing four to five films a year. I didn't want to do only that and to only live like that. That wasn't what I had set out for. So, I assumed that I would get married and do one film a year. I'll be happier and be more settled."
