Kalki Koechlin gave a virtual tour inside her non-traditional 'church-like' home in Goa, which has all kinds of amenities that are required to spend time without getting stuck to screens.
Kalki Koechlin has been living in a surreal house in Goa along with her beau, Guy Hershberg, and their daughter, Sappho. They welcomed their daughter in 2020. For the unversed, Kalki was previously married to filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap. However, they got separatedafter four years of their marriage. Thus, Kalki consciously decided to remain unmarried to Guy and opened up about the same in her previous interviews. Now, in a candid conversation with Brut, she gave a virtual tour of her and Guy's beautiful abode in Goa.
At the beginning of the video, we can get a beautiful entrance to Kalki Koechlin's house in Goa, which is exceptionally surrounded by greenery on all sides. Apart from giving a virtual tour of the house, Kalki also made some revelations regarding her life. While conversing with the host, Kalki shared that she thought of moving to Goa only after her daughter, Sappho’s birth. She shared:
“With a young kid, you need a little garden, you need space, you need outdoor activities or they get stuck to the screen. She was anyway getting stuck to the screen.”

She also talked about growing up in a non-traditional life in Auroville, which is beautifully showcased in her Goa abode. Kalki's beautiful house has round steps, yellow paint on the outside, and a terracotta-styled roof. Upon entrance, it has a table tennis board on one side and a charpai on the other, giving it a very relaxed vibe.
As they went inside, Kalki gave a tour of her living room and mentioned how she feels about living inside a church because of all the stained glass windows. The living room featured white-hued walls, long stained glass windows, and a comfy sofa, where the actress mentioned spending most of her time. Moreover, it has many aesthetic paintings, a wooden horse reportedly for her daughter and other play boards, including chess, carrom and many more.
Well, while Kalki's living room was filled with everything that could help anyone spend an ample amount of time inside her house without getting bored, her kitchen and dining space were also unique in their own way. We can spot a huge wooden table with old traditional chairs and top spotlights set above it to illuminate the place fully. Besides that, we spotted lanterns in various shapes and patterns.

Connected to the dining space in a pop-up window which helps Kalki in various means when her house gets filled with lots of guests. She usually passes the dishes prepared in her kitchen to the dining space. The camera then went inside her kitchen, which boasts another wooden table along with some chairs, a cupboard filled with kitchen equipment and utensils and many other zero-waste items. Starting from a mud filter to a huge double-door fridge and many other amenities filled the kitchen beautifully.
At the end, Kalki showed her garden that surrounds her house. It has jackfruit and lemon trees. Kalki also revealed that such an outdoor space has been quite nourishing for her daughter as the little one gets to do many outdoor activities over there. However, the actress also revealed that, at times, non-poisonous tree snakes appear in her house's garden.
