Television actress, Kamya Panjabi celebrates Durga Ashtami at her home as she worships her kids, Aara and Ishan and feeds them 'chana puri'.

The 8th day of Navratri is celebrated as Durga Ashtami, where people who have observed the fast, treat kids with Indian delicacy halwa-poori in order to complete their fast. While it is not safe to bring kids home these days, our favourite celebrities are finding their own ways to celebrate the Ashtami. While Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra prepared makhana and gur ki barfi as offering to goddess Durga, television actress, Kamya Panjabi also celebrated Durga Ashtami at her home.
Kamya took to her Instagram handle to share stories of her Durga Ashtami celebration. In the series of stories, she can be seen praying to goddess Durga, touching her daughter, Aara’s feet and feeding her kids, Aara and Ishan, 'chana-puri'. Take a look:
Kamya Panjabi had started her new journey with the love of her life, Shalabh Dang on February 10, 2020. In her first interview post-wedding, Kamya had revealed how she didn’t want her wedding to be a typical affair and had spoken about her honeymoon plans. Kamya had stated to the Bombay Times, “I wanted my marriage to be an intimate affair with only our families and close friends in attendance, besides it was held in a gurdwara. However, I also wanted to celebrate the new beginnings of my life with all those who matter to me and so, I hosted a reception (which took place last night). I didn’t want it to be a typical affair where the newly-weds stand on stage and meet and greet the guests. I wanted to be as involved as possible and dance to my heart’s content.” About their honeymoon, Kamya had revealed, “We haven’t zeroed in on a destination, as we are still caught up with the wedding and post-wedding rituals. Kamya’s husband, Shalabh Dang belongs to the health care industry which means, he has to be on-duty during these crucial days. Kamya, who is spending time with her kids, had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a post captioning, “Pati kaam pe Hum aaraam pe. Kamya and Shalabh also made sure to have their family time like everyone else during this lockdown phase. Earlier Kamya had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a cute picture with her hubby, Shalabh. In the picture, Shalabh can be seen cuddling Kamya as they spend their time at home.
