Atul Subhash's suicide has raised the concerns, leaving everyone in shock. For the unversed, Atul was a 34-year-old Bengaluru-based techie, who was found dead in his flat at Manjunatha Layout's Delfinium Residency on December 9, 2024. The techie committed suicide after failing to find a solution to the corrupt legal system that supported his wife, Nikita Singhania, who filed nine cases against him and demanded Rs. 3 crore alimony. Amid all this going on, Kangana Ranaut sparked a controversy with her remarks on this case.

Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut often makes it to the headlines with her statements. She never shies away to speak her heart out and put her opinion out there. Moreover, on December 11, 2024, the actress-turned-politician was asked about Atul Subhash's suicide case. Replying to the same, Kangana stated that the entire country is in shock with the heartbreaking incident of Atul Subhash.

She also added that fake feminism is condemnable, and addressed the issue of extortion of crores of rupees, which are being done. Kangana's next line sparked controversy as she stated that in 99% of marriages, men are at fault, and this is why such mistakes happen. With Atul Subhash's suicide, the '#MenLivesMatter' and '#MenToo' hashtags started making the headlines yet again, and amid this, Kangana, holding men responsible for the issues in marriages, erupted in another controversy. Kangana can be quoted as saying:

"The entire country is in shock. His video is heartbreaking… Fake feminism is condemnable. Extortion of crores of rupees was being done. Having said that, in 99 per cent of marriage cases, it’s the men who are at fault. That’s why such mistakes also happen."

As soon as the video went viral, netizens rushed to the comment section and reacted furiously. Reacting to the video, users called Kangana's remarks to be 'hypocrisy'. One user penned, "99% how she says like that I am man we don’t do like that Gold digger." Another user commented, "Look who is talking about fake feminism." A third user wrote, "99% of men are at fault? How does she know that statistic?"

Atul Subhash penned a 24-page suicide note and held his wife, Nikita Singhania, responsible for the same

Atul Subhash committed suicide, leaving behind a 24-page suicide note, a video to explain, and his last wishes. For the unversed, Atul Subhash's wife, Nikita demanded Rs. 3 crore alimony from him and kept their son away from him. He was asked to pay Rs. 30 lakh to meet his son, while he was reportedly giving Rs. 2 lakhs per month for their son's expenses. Atul Subhash and Nikita got married in 2019.

Talking about Nikita, she is employed with Accenture, an IT company, in the post of AI-engineer consultant, and netizens are now demanding the IT company to fire her. In his suicide note, which also had a page featuring his last wishes, Atul demanded that his asthi visarjaan shouldn't be done until his harassers get punished. He also demanded that his son's custody should be given to his parents.
