On December 14, 2020, Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut took to her Twitter handle and shared a beautiful sepia-coloured picture of her grandfather, Shri Braham Chand Ranaut along with a piece of heartbreaking news about him. The doting granddaughter revealed that her grandfather passed away. She also shared that he was a humourous person in her painful tweet and it can be read as "This evening I drove to my parent's house as my grandfather Shri Braham Chand Ranaut wasn't keeping well for past few months, just when I reached home he had already passed away. He was 90 years old still had an impeccable sense of humour, and we all called him Daddy. OM Shanti OM." For the uninitiated, Kangana Ranaut was extremely close to her grandparents and had often shared pictures and memories with them through her Instagram handle. For instance, on her brother, Aksht Ranaut's birthday, Kangana had taken to her Instagram stories and had shared a beautiful memory from her childhood days with her grandmother. Her caption on the photo collage could be read as "When I was small, whenever we went to temples, my dadi whispered in my ear, 'bolo maata raani mujhe ek bhaiya de do.'
