Since Kangana Ranaut began her political journey, there have been rumours that the actress might quit acting in Bollywood. Moreover, her last few films have not performed well at the box office. When Kangana was asked about the same, she said she hadn't made any decisions and would leave them to the audience. She was quoted as saying:
"Whether I would continue to act, I think this is a question where I would like people to decide that. For example, I never said I wanted to be a leader. People should say you should be a leader. Whether a party does surveys or whatever the criteria was to give you a ticket, it is people's choice that I should fight the elections. Now, tomorrow if Emergency works and if they want to see more of me, if I feel I can have success, I will continue."
Kangana added that if politics will need her more, she will give her time to it. But if the audience wants to see her on-screen, she will continue her acting career. The Queen actress mentioned she would work where she feels needed, respected, and valued. In her words:
"Otherwise if I feel I have more success in politics and I am needed there more… We go where we feel needed, respected and valued. I will let life decide for me, I have no such plans that I will go here or there. I'm fine anywhere where I am needed to whatever is needed".
In the same event, Kanagana claimed several people in the film industry have become negative towards her. Also, they want to ruin her career. The actress-turned-politician added that she has been boycotted by the film industry, and it's not easy for anyone to work with her. She said:
"I have faced many obstacles while making this film, which is common with every film. Every film faces a lot of obstacles and then they find many angels who support you through those obstacles. I want to say a special thanks to my cast. Everybody knows the film industry has boycotted me. Its not easy to stand with me, its not easy to be part of my film, and its definitely not easy to praise me. But, they have done all of it."
