'The Great Indian Kapil Show's season 2 is about to release, and a new report revealed that Kapil Sharma paid eight times more tax than Sunil Grover's total income from the show's first season.

As per the report, Sunil, a reputed actor comedian, earned Rs.25 lakh per episode for the show. So, when we count his total earnings for 13 episodes, it comes at Rs. 3.25 crore. On the other hand, Kapil Sharma paid a total tax of Rs. 26 crore for the financial year 2024. As a result, his taxes were eight times more than Sunil's total earnings from The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Besides comedy, Sunil Grover also acts in several web series and movies. His fees for other projects weren't revealed, but he reportedly earned Rs.75 lakh for his role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer, Jawan. According to reports, he has a net worth of 21 crore in 2024. It can increase with his work in the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show and other abroad tours with Kapil.
On the other hand, Kapil Sharma has become one of the wealthiest and highest-paid comedians in India. As per Indian time, he has a net worth of over Rs 300 crore in 2024. Moreover, the comedian earns around Rs 50 lakhs for each episode of his shows.
