Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra, and Remo D'Souza received death threats via email, and a police complaint has been filed in the case.
Kapil Sharma has worked hard to become the most loved comedian in the country, and everyone has witnessed his journey to fame. Since his rise to popularity, every new update from the actor's personal and professional life has made headlines. Likewise, Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra, and Remo D'Souza have worked for years to win a place in the hearts of audiences. But, it seems like not everyone is happy with them as they all have received serious death threats via email, and fans are worried for their safety.
Kapil Sharma has established a successful career without any connections from the entertainment industry. But, recently, a news report from Free Press Journal revealed that the comedian has received death threats through his emails that are reportedly sent from Pakistan. Earlier actors, Rajpal Yadav and Sugandha Mishra and choreographer, Remo D'Souza also received similar emails. This news comes after big superstars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan also received death threats from different sources. The mail threatened the actor that he, along with his wife, colleagues, relatives, and neighbors, would be 'killed.'
The report further mentioned the emails are reportedly sent by a man who addresses himself as "Bishnu." It also mentions that the daily activities of these popular personalities are being monitored and warns them of serious consequences if their demands are not met within eight hours. However, the exact nature of the demands is not revealed in the news report. The note read:
"We are watching your recent actions closely. We believe it is necessary to bring a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a public stunt or an attempt to harass you. We request that you take this message seriously and maintain confidentiality,"
Kapil Sharma has recently filed a complaint after receiving the email, while Sugandha and Remo did it earlier. On the other hand, Rajpal Yadav's wife filed a complaint a few days after receiving the threat since the mail was in his spam section. As per IANS, the complaint by Rajpal Yadav's wife was registered in Amboli Police station under Section 351(3) of the BNS against an unknown person.
Kapil Sharma hails from a middle-class family in Amritsar and came into the limelight after his winning stint in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge season 3 in 2007. He went on to star and win in Comedy Circus and later became a star with his show, Comedy Nights With Kapil. He last hosted The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2 on Netflix and was recently seen in a music video titled, Guilt.
