Kapil Sharma recently revealed how his life has changed after becoming a father and how his daughter, Anayra, has helped him learn new things.
Kapil Sharma changed the face of comedy in India. Coming from a middle-class household in Punjab, he worked hard and improved his talent to establish himself as the most famous comedian in India. In his personal life, Kapil married his long-time girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath, in 2018. The couple has been blessed with a daughter, Anayra in 2019 and a son, Trishaan in 2021. In a new interview, Kapil discussed his feelings for his daughter and how the little one taught him many new things.
Kapil Sharma recently sat down for an interview with Etimes on daughter's day and described how his daughter is the most precious thing to him. He mentioned that his social circle has become smaller because he wants to spend more time with his kids. The comedian said talking to his daughter is more like a meditation, making him calm and disciplined. He was quoted as saying:
"There are so many positive changes in my life, which have happened organically. My circle of friends has changed. I feel like spending more time at home. Talking to Anayra is like meditation. I have also become far more disciplined."
Kapil often shared on his show that he sleeps until late in the morning and loves his sleep. However, the actor happily gave it up so that he could wake up and meet his daughter before she goes to school. He admitted that everyone, including his wife, could not change this habit of him. Also, Kapil described that after welcoming Anayra, he understood why a father shares a special bond with his daughter. In his words:
"I also plan my schedule in such a way that I get time to spend with my kids.I had always heard ki ek baap aur beti ka pyaar alag hi hota hai. Once you become a father to a daughter, you realise that the love between the two is unparalleled; it is a natural connection. She is the most precious thing to me. She is my biggest blessing. Woh ghar ki raunak hai.”
Kapil Sharma has often made fun of his English speaking skills on his show and happily admitted that he does not know the language. However, Kapil's daughter has become the only person who helped the star improve his English fluency. He proudly mentioned that he is motivated to do better work for her because she considers him a hero. He said:
"She is the one who makes me laugh the most. She is very funny. What the universities and colleges couldn't do, Anayra has managed to do! She has helped me improve my English. My daughter thinks I am a hero. I am more motivated to do good work so they understand that papa was not just doing frivolous things."
Apart from performing his father's duties, Kapil has been managing a busy professional front. He last made a special appearance in the film, Crew co-starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The comedian is currently hosting the new season of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix.
