Kapil Sharma has now revealed why he got married so late and why he was rejected by many girls in his life. On the show, talking about his experience of seeing girls, Kapil said on his show, “Whenever I used to go to see a girl, her parents asked me about my career to which I would revert saying that I am a comedian. I have always got weird replies like, ‘being a comedian is fine, but what do you do to earn money?’ And this was the reason I have always been rejected as everybody thought this art of mine cannot make me earn bread and butter for my family.”
Arun Gemini jumped into the conversation and wittily added, "Even my mother-in-law till date asks me that what she should tell her relatives about my career. She still cannot digest the fact that her son-in-law earns through his art of poetry writing." Before his marriage, Kapil had shared his experience when his mother had taken his proposal to Ginni Chatrath’s father for the first time. Do you know that when Kapil’s mom took his marriage proposal to Ginni’s house, her father had rejected it? Kapil had revealed in an interview with Bombay Times, “When I started earning well, my mother took my marriage proposal to her family, which got rejected. Inke papaji ne bade pyaar se bola, ‘Shut up’ (laughs!). Thereafter, I got busy with work, while she pursued MBA in finance. I guess, she kept studying to avoid marriage proposals. At that time, I was settled in Mumbai, and so much was happening in my life. I then realised ki itna kuchh hua hai, but isne kabhi mujhe disturb nahi kiya. Itna patience kisi mein nahi dekha maine. Jab ye sab gadbad chal rahi thi, that’s when I decided that it was the right time to marry. It was my decision, because ye toh padhai kare hi jaa rahi thi (laughs!). So, on December 24, 2016, I called and told Ginni that I wanted to marry her. My mother has always been fond of her.” (Also Read: Sonali Bendre's First Ad After Fighting Cancer Gives Out Strong Message #MujheSabNahiPata To Mothers)

Last year, when I was going through a low phase, she was there with me throughout. That’s when I felt that if she is with me during my low phase, then she is the one for me. I can rely on her.”
For the ones who don’t know, Kapil had announced his wedding to Ginni in March 2017, but it got delayed due to his professional commitments. On this note, he had once told a media portal, “Back then, we had decided that we would get married but due to my hectic schedule, we couldn’t lock a date. My mum stays in Amritsar and worries about me. Now that I am getting married, I think it was destined. I feel marriage is an essential part in our lives as it brings stability.” (Also Checkout: Priyank Sharma's Mother Says, 'Koi Ladki Nahi Aani Chahiye Ghar Mein', Warns Him Of His Girlfriends)

Mera dimag sahi nahi rehta, ajeeb sa lagta hai sab kuch. She would tell me that she prays only for me. She has been my emotional anchor; she has surrendered herself for my well-being. I will do as she says, because I know that she is right; hosh mein decision leti hai.” (Suggested Read: 'Naamkarann' Actor, Puru Chibber And Roshni Banthia's Unseen Wedding Pictures)
