The film is being directed by none other than Sunny himself. Recently, in an interview with the Mid-Day, Karan opened up on the kissing scene which he had to shoot in front of his father. He shared, "Initially, I was a little shy and awkward about doing this scene in front of my father. That would be a normal reaction of any kid. But then, I just switched off and let my emotions flow. I was nervous at first, but after the take, I realised that the moment was beautifully captured and it was in sync with the story." (Also Read: Amy Jackson Reveals The Gender Of Her Baby, Ecstatically Announces In Baby Shower Ceremony [VIDEO])

He further added, "I had no apprehensions about the scene. I approached it in the same manner as I deal with any other scene because at the end of the day, I’m playing a character and it flows with the narrative."

Karan comes from the protective family of Deols, who still believe in nurturing relationships over anything else. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Sunny had talked about directing his son for his debut film. He had talked about the nervousness, and had shared, "I remind myself that I did, so he will too. Still, given that he comes from a protective family, it’s good I’ve directed his first film. It’s important for a newcomer to be fathered and while filmmakers in our time were more approachable, the scenario has changed today."

Sunny further shared that he can relate how his father, Dharmendra felt while directing his debut film, Betaab. He had stated, "I was the first in our generation to be launched and this film made me realise what my dad (Dharmendra) must have gone through during Betaab (Sunny's debut film). Unless you become a father yourself, you can’t empathise with this pain, fear and love."

In a throwback interview, Sunny had talked about his relationship with Karan, and had said, "Karan and I can't be friends. He shares his secrets with me but maintains a distance. You can call it his reservation or respect towards me. Despite being the new generation boy, Karan maintains a distance."

Talking about the similarities, Sunny had shared, "Karan is also like me. He'll sit with me and then after a while, we fall short of conversations. Whereas on the film's set he treats me like a director only. He's very professional." (Don't Miss: Aamir Khan's Daughter, Ira Khan Wishes Beau, Mishaal Kirpalani On Their Two Years Of Togetherness)
