In an old interview, eminent filmmaker, Karan Johar openly advised Kusha Kapila to end her relationship with her then-husband, Zorawar. He even admitted having a crush on Kusha.
Karan Johar is known for his bold statements and nonchalant attitude towards life. He doesn't think twice about speaking his mind, no matter the consequences. The filmmaker often gets into numerous controversies for his habit of not filtering his words, and the same has happened yet again. An old video of Karan Johar is currently making rounds on the internet, in which he can be seen giving questionable relationship advice to Kusha Kapila.
For the unversed, Kusha Kapila is a content-creator turned actress. The diva has been part of several Bollywood projects like Sukhee, Thank You For Coming, Masaba Masaba and more. On the personal front, the starlet announced divorce from her now ex-husband, Zorawar Ahluwalia, in 2023, but the duo are on cordial terms with each other.

Karan Johar and Kusha Kapila in 2019 featured together in Social Media Star With Janice where they both shared rare insights of their life. In one segment Karan Johar said that he and Kusha should exchange numbers and the latter can call him for all kinds of relationship advises. He added that the first relationship advice he would like to give is "break up". This came as a shocker and the host even said, "Kya divorce karwa rahe ho".
In the same episode the duo was playing a game of rapid fire. The host asked Karan who is his current Instagram crush to which the filmmaker did not waste a breath and said that it is Kusha Kapila. He also added that he has binge-watched all of Kusha's videos on Instagram after coming across one of her South Delhi videos.

Talking about relationships, Karan Johar revealed that the major mantra that he follows in terms of relationships is that "sexual infidelity is not infidelity". This was quite a controversial statement in itself but things escalated even more when Kusha agreed with Karan and said that she too agrees with it.
