"I think, they all thought that maybe it was too much for me to handle, given my schedule. I don't think they were saying it for societal reasons. But, I just knew I was ready to be a parent. I just knew I was ready to give a piece of my heart away. And which is what I have done with my two children. I think one big piece of my heart is them and one big piece of my heart is my mum. And I feel like that love quotient is satisfied."

Even at a young age, Yash and Roohi have already become internet sensations, and Karan's massive fanbase loves their cutesy adventures. Earlier, talking about how tough and challenging it can be to be a single parent, in an interview with Film Companion, Karan Johar had shared:

"Being a single parent is really daunting and scary. Because I think it takes a mother and a father to complete the upbringing of a child. In many ways, you could say that having Yash and Roohi is full of love but it is also a selfish decision. It is because I want that love for myself. There was a large empty space in my life that needed to be filled by children."

Karan Johar dotes on his children, and his social media handles are proof of the same. On the work front, he is busy shooting his film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
