Karan Kundrra had taken our breaths away when he had first appeared in the serial, Kitani Mohabbat Hai. He had dated his co-star, Kritika Kamra from the same serial but after dating for a couple of years, the duo had called it off. Karan then moved on to have a serious relationship with MTV VJ turned actress, Anusha Dandekar. The couple has been dating for more than 5 years and is in a live-in relationship. The couple has been hosting the reality show, Love School and we love their camaraderie with each other. But it seems everything is not fine in their paradise as according to a report of SpotboyE, the couple was living separately and had decided to take a break.
Now it seems that the troubles in their personal life are also affecting their professional lives. According to the latest reports of Telly Chakkar, the couple will not be hosting the fifth season of Love School. After the first season, which was hosted by Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna, Karan and Anusha had taken over and had been hosting the show continuously for three seasons. But according to the latest reports, the duo won’t be continuing as hosts in the fifth season. The source further told Telly Chakkar, “Since the show needs to have real life couples as the hosts, Karan and Anusha will not be able to continue if they have headed for separation.”
The reports of their breakup had gotten more mileage as the doting couple, who is otherwise quite active on social media stopped posting pictures with each other since February 2020. In an interview with the Bombay Times, Karan Kundrra had broken his silence over his alleged breakup with Anusha Dandekar. Talking about the same, he had retorted, "First of all, Anusha and I don’t live together. We have our own pads and we stay together for a few days, whenever our schedules permit. I was shooting in Haryana and returned to Mumbai just before the lockdown was announced. I didn’t want to risk anyone else’s health and hence, chose to stay at my home. Just because we are living separately, people have assumed that we have parted ways. Let me tell you, we are still together." He had further added, "The rumour could also have been fuelled by the fact that I haven’t posted much on my social media handles. Well, that’s because I am on a digital detox now." He had also expressed how Anusha was getting affected by such rumours. He had stated, "I don’t get affected by these rumours, but Anusha does. She is more emotional and it was she who brought the break-up rumour to my notice. Arre, pehle hamein toh pata chalne do ki hamara break-up ho gaya hai."
Anusha had also taken to her Instagram handle to express her anger over people questioning her relationship quo. Sharing the screenshot of the message that she had received from an unknown person, she had written, “We are in the middle of a pandemic and I would never even bother to react to this, I would normally ignore this but this is just insanely not ok! #blocked.” She also added “And just one more thing before I go to sleep... I know l am being way more vocal than usual but l am tired of people thinking my silence and kindness is weakness... l know who has gone to the press with this so called information... it’s sad that even In this devastating world crisis you wanted to make a spectacle of someone’s life...I hope you realise how you are choosing to live your life... You are not my friend but the question is, are you a friend of anyone’s... or just forever self serving...
