Karan Patel Reveals How Marriage And Fatherhood Changed Him Personally And Professionally

Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava are riding high on parenthood with their little angel, Mehr. In a recent interview, Karan has revealed how his marriage changed him.

Love is the most beautiful emotion that one believes in. From the lovely evening strolls to enjoying a hot cup of coffee on a rainy day are some of the amazing moments one love sharing with his/her partner. Love, compassion, faith and mutual respect are some of the important aspects of a relationship. And television’s one of the most adorable couple, Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava are the perfect examples of a happily married couple. The duo has surprised everyone when they had announced their wedding and had gotten married on May 3, 2015, in a grand Gujarati style. Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava never met each other despite the fact that Karan worked with Ankita’s father, Abhay Bhargava in the popular show, Ye Hai Mohabbatein. Cupid had stuck Karan and Ankita in the form of Aly Goni who introduced the two and was the reason for their lovely union. On December 14, 2019, the life of Karan and Ankita had changed, when they had welcomed their little angel, Mehr. The proud parents had shared the good news with everyone through social media. Revealing the name of their little one, Karan and Ankita had written, “All your blessings made our world beautiful, a heartfelt thank you to all our well-wishers .... #RabbDiMehr.”

In an interview with The Times of India, Karan revealed how marriage has changed him personally and professionally. Talking about the same he revealed, “Marriage changes everybody, be it a man or a woman. Anything that matters to you, changes you. If your marriage matters to you, it will change you and the same applies to your work. If there is something that I hold close to my heart, I will make sure to not do things that might make me lose it.”

In the same interview, he also talked about his two-month-old daughter, Mehr and stated, “Fatherhood is the best feeling in the world. We lost a daughter and then we got a daughter. I think she is back. Coming back to their love story, in an interview with The Asian Age, Karan had shared an interesting detail about his marriage. He had said, "I think this is the first case where the groom met his father-in-law two years even before he could meet his bride! It wasn’t planned. This is a destiny that made it happen. I have a lot to thank my co-star and father-in-law Abhay Bhargava for. He played a crucial role in changing my life for the better by giving my Ankita."

Karan Patel had confirmed the news of his baby girl’s arrival in a statement to the media, which could be read as "Am numb overjoyed and a little intimidated the only soul who has given me such emotions all at one go, Ankita is doing well and our families would like to thank each and everyone who has loved us and continue to bless us." Ankita Bhargava's father, Abhay Bhargava had also stated, “We are elated with the arrival of our granddaughter. Both the families — the Patels and the Bhargavas —- wanted a girl and God has blessed us with one. This is the best New Year’s gift we could have ever asked for.”

Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava were supposed to welcome their first baby in November 2018, but unfortunately, Ankita had suffered a miscarriage in June 2018. But their optimistic attitude towards life is commendable as they had moved on. Karan, in an interview with the Mid-Day, had poured his heart out regarding Ankita’s miscarriage. Here’s what he had said, "We are in a positive state of mind. We want to start a family and are planning for it. The incident is behind us.
