Karan Patel Reveals If He And Divyanka Tripathi Are Having A Cold War: 'We're Two Different People'

In a recent interview, Karan Patel revealed if he and his 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' co-star, Divyanka Tripathi had any cold war going on.

Karan Patel is one of the most talented actors in the television world. Moreover, it was one of his iconic roles as 'Raman Bhalla' alongside Divyanka Tripathi, aka, 'Ishita' in the most popular serial, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, that swooned a zillion hearts. There's no denying the fact that Ekta Kapoor's serial was one of her masterpieces. And the chemistry between 'Raman' and 'Ishita' will always be cherished by their fans. Apart from all of these, reports were rife that a cold war had been going on between Karan and Divyanka since the time of YHM. However, in a recent interview, Karan has reacted to the same.

Karan Patel reveals if there's any cold war that has been going on between him and Divyanka Tripathi

In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Karan Patel opened up about the ongoing speculations about the cold war between him and Divyanka. The actor shared that they are two different people and they are friends, but they are not as thick as thieves. Talking more about the same, Karan stated that Divyanka is more like an introvert, shy, and quiet person, while he is on the bratty side. Karan further mentioned that he likes to make friends. Talking about his friendship with Divyanka, Karan said that they both have two different personalities to be thick as friends. Karan said:

"We are two very different people. We are friends, yes, but we are not thick as thieves because we are two very different people. She’s more of a very introvert, quiet and shy kind of a person and I’m more on the bratty side. I like to make friends. I joke around and we share very both different personalities for us to be as thick as friends.”

Further, in the interview, Karan Patel said that there wasn't anything wrong between him and Divyanka. Speaking along the same lines, Karan said that people often perceive their 'hi hello' to be a cold war. Karan added that there's either war or it is cold. Karan stated:

"Having said that, there’s never been any bad blood either. So, people often mistake that if we say ‘hi, hello’ then people take that as ‘Oh My God, there’s a cold war going on’. I mean, what the f*** is a cold war? There’s either a war or it’s cold. We can’t have a cold war as simple as that.”

Karan Patel shares if he gets affected by the rumours and reports about him

In the same interview, Karan Patel was asked if he gets affected or bothered by such rumours and reports. To this, the actor said that he doesn't get bothered. He also added that he has never been affected by whatever got written about him, no matter if it's good or bad.

Further, in the interview, Karan Patel was asked about his close friends. To this, the actor took the name of some famous individuals, including Anita Hassanandani, Ekta Kapoor, Ravi Dubey, Sargun Mehta, Karanvir Bohra, and Ritwik Dhanjani. Talking about Anita Hassanandani, the diva played another lead role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein as 'Shagun', 'Raman Bhalla's first wife. However, talking about Anita, Karan said that she is at the top of his list of friends. Sharing deets about when they first met, Karan mentioned:

"Anita and I met when she playing a lead and I was playing a cameo in the TV show.”
