Karan Veer Mehra is best known as the reality TV king. He has been the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and Bigg Boss 18. Even on the sets of the controversial show, he was one of the most mature contestants who was good to everyone. The actor who has made a name for himself in the TV industry had two failed marriages. Now, Karan Veer has made some shocking claims in an episode of Chuddy Buddy. He shared cheating on his wife and double-dating married women.
Karan may not have had a 'happily-ever-after' with Devika Mehra and Nidhi Seth. However, this TV heartthrob confessed to being disloyal in his marriage and double dating. A video has gone viral where the Blood Money actor, Karan, was seen with his Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 co-contestant, Shilpa Shinde, on Ali Asgar and Bakhtiyar Irani's eighth episode of, Chuddy Buddy season 2.
The hosts played a game called 'Never Have I Ever', where the rule was they would ask them a question, and if they confessed to it, they would have to sip on coffee. Ali asked Karan and Shilpa if they dated a married woman or a man. Karan immediately sipped on the coffee and agreed. When asked, "Double dating kia hai, cheated on your partner"? Karan instantly again drank the coffee. He added:
"If that's called cheating. Emotionally kabhi nai."
Karan met his childhood love and former wife, Devika, in school. She was a famous girl, and many had crushes on her, but only he could win her heart despite the competition. They got married in 2009, and in 2018, they opted for separation. During the pandemic in 2021, Karan met Nidhi Seth, got married, and separated in 2023. Once in the Bigg Boss 18 house, Karan had revealed to contestant Kashish Kapoor that both his marriages failed. In his words:
"In my first marriage, we both changed and were no longer the same people who had once fallen in love. We didn't know when the third or fourth lockdown would have happened. It was her (Nidhi's) second marriage too, so we thought this time it would work, so in rush, we went ahead and got married."
Karan also reflected on his second marriage with Nidhi and shared that they used to have minor disagreements. It used to continue, and the fights did not end. He confessed that the male ego is fragile, and when that is hurt, one tells many things. Karan also confessed to Kashish that he did not know how to manage his male ego in front of Nidhi as they did not understand each other. Earlier in an interview with ETimes, Nidhi had also shared that the fights between her and Karan had become too much to handle and had also called their relationship as toxic.
