Karan Veer Mehra, had mustered the courage to speak about his failed marriages, lately in 'Bigg Boss 18'. Here's what he had said about the same.
Karan Veer Mehra is playing his game well in the house of Bigg Boss 18 . The contestant is getting a lot of love for his catchy one-liners. His close bond with Shrutika Arjun, Chum Darang, and Shilpa Shirodkar is appreciated on the show. The latest promo by the makers revealed the actor, getting into a heart-to-heart conversation with wild card entry contestant, Kashish Kapoor. He revealed why his two marriages failed and how his male ego got hurt in his second marriage.
Karan Veer Mehra, told Kashish Kapoor that he was a single boy enjoying life and having fun. Kashish then asked him if he was never committed or married. The actor revealed that he was married and mentioned that he was a divorcee later, Kashish inquired about the same. She then asked him about the reason for his divorce, and Karan reflected on how they were changed people in his first marriage. However, in his second marriage, it was a hasty decision. For the unversed, Karan was first married to Devika Mehra. In his words:
"In my first marriage, we both changed and were no longer the same people who had once fallen in love."

The Ragini MMS 2 actor, revealed that he had full faith that his marriage with Nidhi Seth would work. They did not know when the third or the fourth lockdown would occur and whether people would be alive. Here, he bore his heart out about the male ego being punctured. Karan quipped:
"Then it starts with small things, then it goes on and on. And then it's a small thing, then the male ego gets hurt. Then you say it. Managing it is crucial, but we just didn't have that level of understanding."
Karan and Nidhi called off their marriage in 2023 and lived separately. They had tied the knot in 2021. However, issues started cropping up after a few months of their marriage. She revealed that marrying the actor was the biggest mistake of her life and that her family was supportive when she decided to leave the past and move on.
The actor married, Devika in 2009, and in 2018, they opted for separation. The ex-couple were childhood friends for 10 years and were married for eight long years. Karan, had earlier mentioned to the same publication that as his career grew, Devika had also decided to be a part of the charismatic world and their marriage began to have issues. He had revealed:
"I felt like I had begun to slip from her list of priorities. Consequently, our equations changed and I got linked to actresses, actors and creative producers, and it was the beginning of the end. So, I don't blame or disrespect. the institution of marriage and I'm not disillusioned either."
