Karanvir Bohra's newborn daughter's first Lohri celebration looked like this! Her twin sisters, Bella and Vienna gave her an adorable nickname!
The firsts of every newborn child are special and every first festival is celebrated with lots of enthusiasm and joy. Every family has their own way to bring in their newborn child’s first festivals, while some bring it with the whole taam-jhaam, some prefer to celebrate the festival in an intimate manner. Karanvir Bohra and Teejay Sidhu have been celebrating their little doll’s every first festival in the calmest manner. Santa Claus had visited Karanvir and Teejay a little early as the two were blessed with a baby girl on December 21, 2020. As the baby girl was only four days old on Christmas Day, the family had decided to keep it a simple yet merry one for their newborn girl. While their twin daughters were visited by Santa Claus, their little one had decided to sleep through the day. Taking to her IG handle, Teejay had shared a family picture, posing next to the Christmas tree and had penned a long note. Her note could be read as “Christmas is a little extra special this year! This baby has truly been the greatest, most beautiful gift. 2020 has been a challenging year, but no matter what's been happening in the world, this sweet little life force outshines all else happening around us. She teaches me an even deeper meaning of gratitude.”
As serene and calm her Christmas was, her first Lohri is also a calm one. Taking to her IG handle, Teejay shared a picture of her newborn daughter sleeping on a couch, without revealing her face. She shared that her daughter’s first Lohri is as beautiful as any other day. She also shared the nickname that her twin daughters, Bella and Vienna have given to their newborn sister. As the family hasn’t finalised any name yet, the twin sisters call their newborn sister ‘Snowflake’. She wrote, “Baby's first #lohri.. But it's actually a day like every other - beautiful. Today and everyday we laugh, we love, we dream, we give thanks. #happylohri everyone. PS: Still haven't finalized a name yet, although her two big sisters call her Snowflake!”
A reason for no big celebrations for KV’s newborn daughter’s first Lohri is also that Karanvir had to leave his family to be back in India. Karanvir had joined his family in Canada when Teejay was in the last days of her pregnancy. The doting daddy had to leave his family in Canada and it broke his heart. Sharing a picture with his four angels, Karanvir wrote, “The most painful feeling leaving your loved ones behind... not being with my lil one on Lhori @bombaysunshine @twinbabydiaries #snowflake (that’s what Bella and Vienna call her) miss you guys so much #happylhori to all.”
To bring in the New Year on January 1, 2021, Karanvir had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared lovely pictures with his newborn baby girl. In the pictures, we could see Karanvir donning a red-checkered pyjama, while his princess was also wearing a matching red-checkered onesie. Along with the pictures, Karanvir had written how he had enjoyed his New Year eve by taking care of his little princess. His caption could be read as "My kind of #NewYearEve. Watching shows and putting this cutie to sleep... But yes, we have to be matching." On December 22, 2020, Karanvir had shared a glimpse of his newborn, enjoying her sleep. Karanvir had taken to his IG handle and had shared an adorable picture with his baby girl, sleeping peacefully atop her daddy. The little wonder had looked cute in a pink and grey onesie and the doting daddy, Karanavir was seen taking a quick nap. Along with the picture, Karanvir had written, “She doesn't want to be in a cot or crib - she sleeps best like this! People will say I am spoiling her too much. But I can't help it - that's the kind of Dad I am.
