The long-awaited marriage of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan continues to fuel more controversies. February 10th was widely believed to be the confirmed Engagement Date for the Bollywood couple. This was highlighted in many leading tabloids too. Now, contradictory reports are emerging. Bebo is claiming any report about February 10th being the Engagement Date as absolutely false!
February 10th is also the release date for the Imran Khan—Kareena Kapoor romantic starrer, ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’. The movie is already creating a buzz. It is expected to get an enthusiastic response with its release close on the heels of Valentine’s Day. Kareena Kapoor was recently in the capital, doing promotional rounds for her forthcoming release. As expected, Kareena’s presence attracted lots of questions regarding her engagement/marriage plans.
Any questions directed at her Engagement Date were met with denial from the leading Bollywood lady. She repeatedly emphasized that Saif was presently preoccupied with the post-production work of 'Agent Vinod'. This is Saif’s home production and is slated for a March release.
To add more confusion, Imran Khan added that Kareena and Saif would tie the knot a week after the release of ‘Agent Vinod’. This seems more like a humorous one-liner from Imran, since this would make the marriage date to be April 1st, i.e. April Fool's Day!
Don’t you think the Bollywood fraternity owes its fans some degree of clarity regarding things as sacred as marriage?
