Kareena Kapoor Khan first time opened up about feeling mom guilt for not attending her youngest son, Jehangir Ali Khan's concert, and how she had to convince herself.
Kareena Kapoor Khan has made a place in the world of glam and glitz as a fashionista and an amazing actress. Her performances in films like Refugee, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Jab We Met, 3 Idiots and many more made her win the hearts of millions. And she continues to work hard and stay relevant at the age of 43. Talking about her personal life, Kareena is happily married to Saif Ali Khan, and they are parents of two adorable munchkins — Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.
Kareena Kapoor Khan also goes through mom guilt like any other working mom. Managing two kids while being a full-time actress and long shooting hours is difficult. Talking about the same at the ABP Network's Ideas of India Summit, Kareena shared that she felt a lot of guilt when she could not attend her youngest son, Jeh's, first concert. She added that she needed to be there to see what her son does, as he might not remember it when he grows up. She was quoted as saying:
"Of course, like, there was a lot of guilt that I couldn't be there for Jeh's first concert, but then I kind of told myself that I know I would be there when he performs next year. And it's more for me at this age. You know, because he's he's three. It's it's my guilt! It's like I need to be there for my joy to see what he does because I don't know if he'll remember it. So I have to, you know, you have to talk to yourself, convince yourself saying that it's okay."

Kareena further shared that her older son, Taimur, understands that his mother is not available at all times. She stated that it is a healthy atmosphere for him to see his mother and father go to work, giving him a chance to grow up respecting a woman a lot more. She said:
"Because somewhere I feel that I can't live this guilt of 'I'm not going to be there at certain times' or 'at all times' and I'm not there 24 hours because being at work or being a working mother is something that I can't live without either. I don't know anything without that. I feel Taimur understands that when I say I'm going to work I'm going to shooting. I also feel it's a healthy atmosphere for him to see that his mother as well as his father go to work, they take turns and who's probably going to be there at home. I think it will give him a lot of very balanced approach to, growing up and knowing how to respect a woman a lot more."
On January 30, 2024, a paparazzo page shared a video of Kareena Kapoor Khan getting out of the car with her kids. First, it was Jeh who jumped out of the car and looked a bit out of the mood, and he threw a paper on the floor. However, his nanny quickly picked it up, and Kareena took him inside, and Taimur Ali Khan followed them.
As soon as the video went viral, netizens expressed their point of view on the behaviour of Kareena's children. One user wrote, "I think she should learn some manners." When the Khans were returning from their vacation, we stumbled upon a heart melting moment when Jeh cried out loud after he got scolded. While the family was boarding their car, Taimur was sitting in the front, and Jehangir also insisted on sitting with his elder brother in front of the car. However, Saif scolded him and asked him to sit at the back with Kareena. Listening to his father's words, Jeh was left crying out loud, and even after sitting in the car's backseat, the little boy didn't stop crying.
