Being a public figure or a celebrity is not a cakewalk as they are constantly under the media scrutiny which makes them an easy target for trolls. They are always in the limelight and are hounded by the ones, who want to hog the same. Now while most of the times, celebs choose to ignore these trolls, there are times when they decide to give them a taste of their own medicine. Kareena Kapoor Khan proved to be among the latter on the chat show, Pinch by Arbaaz Khan. Kareena Kapoor Khan appeared on Arbaaz Khan’s new chat show, Pinch by Arbaaz Khan, wherein they discussed the social media comments for Bebo. We have always seen Kareena to be a perfect blend of sass and humility, and she has flaunted her skin be it size zero or post-pregnancy weight with full confidence. On the other hand, we have witnessed time and again, how understanding her husband Saif Ali Khan is when it comes to supporting his wife. Remember when Kareena revealed that it was Saif who encouraged her to lose all the pregnancy weight and get back to work post delivering their firstborn, Taimur Ali Khan?
Such an exemplary relationship of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan has inspired their fans and made them one of the classy and power couples of B-town. Sometime back, Kareena and Saif along with Taimur, Soha Ali Khan-Kunal Kemmu and their daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu went on a vacation to the Maldives. Soha shared the first family photo of everyone chilling in a pool, and later she posted another one of Kareena and Saif, wherein Bebo flaunted her perfect bikini-clad figure while Saif looked suave with a hat and a cool shirt.
Soon after, trolls started targeting Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. On Pinch by Arbaaz Khan, Kareena read one such comment, which stated, "Go to hell Saif Ali Khan. you not a shame to let your wife wearing bikini". Bebo in her sassiest self, didn’t take this with a 'pinch' of salt, and replied, "Who is Saif but to stop me from wearing a bikini? I don't think my relationship is as such that Saif would ever tell me why are you wearing a bikini or why are you doing such things or what? I don't think so at all. I think we share a very responsible relationship. He trusts me...and whether I am wearing a bikini then obviously there's a reason I am wearing it. I am taking a dip.”
Nowadays, social media comes hand-in-hand with the term, ‘trolling’. Expressing her concern towards celeb trolling, Kareena Kapoor Khan said on the same show, "The ignorance of people towards celebrities, actors...They think we don't have any feelings. They just expect us to take everything with a pinch of salt which is fine but they should also know that we also have a heart, we also have emotions, we also can feel. And we can't always put up a brave front. Sometimes we breakdown, even we feel vulnerable. And people who say they don't read comments, I feel everyone reads them." On the same show, another tweet labelled Kareena Kapoor Khan as rude and arrogant, “Not appealing at all. Especially with her rude and arrogant attitude to the public. She needs to remember it is the public that allowed her to be famous.” To which, Bebo replied, “But when am I rude and where have I been arrogant? Of course actors, especially stars, have an image. And I have a feeling stars who come from a film family ....a lot of people feel they are arrogant. People who don’t know you, shouldn’t comment. They don’t know who I am.”
One Twitter user commented that Taimur Ali Khan’s nanny is paid more than bureaucrats, to which Kareena Kapoor Khan retorted, “How do they know that? This question should be addressed by a ministry.” On a serious note, she added, “There is no price for anything as long as your child is happy and safe. There is no price for that.” Asked to act her age and called “aunty” on Twitter, Kareena said, “I think age is just a number. I’m young at heart.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan was also targeted by the trolls for being a ‘bad mother’, post her son, Taimur Ali Khan’s birth. People trolled her for ‘abandoning’ her son and going out for parties. Speaking about the same, Bebo had shared earlier, “Going out with friends doesn't make me any less of a good mother. Motherhood doesn't mean a woman must give up on herself. It's easy to see a photograph of me and jump to conclusions, but people don't know my equation with my child. We are capable of multitasking.”
On her radio show, What Women Want, Kareena Kapoor Khan had reacted to trolls that revolve around her and her son, Taimur. Speaking about the same, she had stated, “I have to address one thing… recently I got trolled on a photo where I was getting into a private jet… and the trolling was about how apparently, I’m a careless mother who’s letting my kid be brought up by nannies. To you judgemental folks who know nothing about my life, please note that there’s a finger I’m showing you in my mind right now.” (Also Read: Kareena Kapoor Khan Expresses Her Disappointment Over Fans Trolling Celebrities, Details Inside)
