Kareena Kapoor Khan finally broke silence on the chilling fight of her husband, Saif Ali Khan with a thief to save the family.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan went through a chilling night of their lives as an intruder barged into their home. When he got caught by the nanny of Jeh, he asked for a ransom of Rs. 1 crore, and on denying the same, he fought with Saif Ali Khan, and he reportedly stabbed the actor six times, out of which two were serious cuts. Now, Kareena broke her silence on the same.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Kareena penned an official statement on the recent incidents. She called it an incredibly challenging day for her family, who are still trying to process the whole event. She even requested the media and paparazzi to refrain from making speculations. She wrote:
"It has been an incredibly challenging time for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time. I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculations and coverage."
Kareena added that she appreciates the concern and support, but the constant scrutiny and attention further pose a risk to their family. She even asked the media to respect their boundary and the space to heal as a family. She concluded the note by writing:
"While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding during this sensitive time. Kareena Kapoor Khan."
According to a report by Lokmat, the attacker was hiding in Jeh's room when the whole incident happened. Jeh's nanny first saw the intruder and screamed for help, and Saif rushed to when a scuffle happened between them. During the process, Saif and the nanny got hurt. However, Saif suffered serious stabs.
When the incident happened, Kareena Kapoor Khan immediately called her step-son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, who rushed to their home. The 23-year-old ran to help his father and his family, but before that, he had to find an auto-rickshaw as all the drivers had left for their home.
After the news came out in public, everyone wondered what happened to the Khan family. Saif and Kareena's countless fans prayed for the betterment of the former. By afternoon, Saif's team issued a public statement, revealing that the actor was out of danger and is currently recovering. The statement can be read as:
"Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe, and the police are investigating the incident."
